In the Water (Avatar Poly Love Story)

Prologue

(A/N: When the text is like this they're speaking Na'vi)

Arno was trying to sleep on a giant rock he found in he managed to find. He had been scared and hungry all day

He had no idea where he was at all, all he remembered was playing with the frogs in the river when the fog rolled in and all the noise around him started to fade away

When the fog finally disappeared he found himself in a forest, that glowing in beautiful colors

He had been in the forest for almost two days now, he missed his parents, his siblings, his friends. He just wanted to go back home

Just then he heard the russell of a near by bush and quietly dove into the water. As he jump in he heard the voice of a young girl shouting something

After a few moments Arno peeked his head out of the water and saw a very tall, blue girl kneeling on the ground looking over the water, looking at him with her yellow, almost gold eyes

The blue girl had darker blue stripes on her entire body. She had a cat like nose and pointy ears. Arno saw she was wearing a loincloth and what seemed like a long necklace that covered her chest. Arno saw movement behind her and saw she had a tail

After a moment of staring at each other the blue girl begins to speak in a language he couldn't understand. The girl notice his confusion and thought for a moment, before speaking again, this time in english

"I'm sorry" She pauses, as if trying to figure out the words to say "I didn't mean to..scare you"

'She knows English?' Arno thought

Arno lifted his head out the water and the two children stared at each for a moment

"I'm Neytiri" The girl said, giving him a warm smile, Arno gave a small smile back "I'm....Arno"

He swam closer to her as he started to trust her. He noticed by her face and voice, she seemed to be the same age as him, or at least close to it

"Neytiri! Where did you go?!" Another girls voice called in a language Arno couldn't understand, but she sounded a little older than Neytiri

"Over here Sylwanin!" Neytiri turned to yell back at her sister. When she turned back to Arno she only caught a glimpse of him going to hide behind the rock he was on, he was a fast swimmer she noted

"No wait! Come back!" Neytiri called out to him "Sister who are you talking to?" Sylwanin asked her little sister as she and Tsu'tey emerged from the tree line

"The boy in the lake" Neytiri said pointing at the big rock

"What are you talking-" Tsu'tey stopped himself mid sentence as he looked to where Neytiri was pointing at, Sylwanin looked as well and gasped

There they saw the young boy peeking at them from behind a rock. He was a lighter shade of blue with one fin on his head and two on the left side of his face, where his left ear should be

"Hey, who are you!?" Tsu'tey shouted in english at the boy. Said boy quickly hid behind the rock again

"Stop you're scaring him!" Neytiri shouted at Tsu'tey "Come on Neytiri- NEYTIRI!" Sylwanin shouted as the younger sister jumped into the water and started swimming towards the boy

Arno was hiding in the water with his eyes closed shut and covering his ears, not noticing Neytiri coming closer to him

Neytiri submerged herself into the water to get closer to him, putting her hand on his shoulder to get his attention
