Ayanokoji's POV:
The next morning, I entered the classroom, which was still very quiet from Kushida's true personality being revealed. I took my seat, and Ms. Chabashira entered the room. It was evident on her face that this exam would be challenging. Unfortunately, we would only learn the details one day before the exam, as she would explain them today. The explanation was too complicated for most students, but I managed to get an overview:
**The Four-Layer Exam**
**Overview:** This special exam tests the intellectual, strategic, social, and physical abilities of the students. The exam consists of four different stages, each with a unique focus and different requirements. The teams consist of four students who are randomly selected. The teams earn points based on their performance in each stage.
**Stage 1: The Intellectual Labyrinth**
- **Description:** This stage focuses on logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- **Task:** Teams must navigate through a virtual labyrinth where they solve puzzles and logical problems to advance. The puzzles range from math problems to language puzzles and memory tasks.
- **Evaluation:** Each solved puzzle earns the team points. The speed at which the puzzles are solved also affects the score. Additionally, students with outstanding or weak performance are graded separately.**Stage 2: The Strategic Chessboard**
- **Description:** This stage tests the students' strategic and tactical abilities.
- **Task:** Teams compete in a tournament playing a modified chess game. Each team has a captain who makes the moves while the other team members act as advisors and provide strategic insights.
- **Evaluation:** Winning each game earns the team points. Bonus points are awarded for particularly brilliant moves and strategic depth. Additionally, students with outstanding or weak performance are graded separately.**Stage 3: The Social Network**
- **Description:** This stage tests the students' social skills and negotiation abilities.
- **Task:** Each team receives a limited amount of resources (e.g., food, water, information) and must acquire additional resources through negotiation and trade with other teams. There are also hidden tasks that must be completed for extra points.
- **Evaluation:** Points are awarded based on the number and value of the acquired resources and the completion of hidden tasks. The ability to form alliances and resolve conflicts is also evaluated. Additionally, students with outstanding or weak performance are graded separately.**Stage 4: The Physical Duel**
- **Description:** This stage measures the students' physical fitness and teamwork.
- **Task:** Teams participate in an obstacle course that requires both individual and cooperative skills. Some obstacles can only be overcome together.
- **Evaluation:** The time it takes for the team to complete the course determines the score. Additional points are awarded for exceptional athletic performance and excellent teamwork. Additionally, students with outstanding or weak performance are graded separately.**Overall Evaluation:**
- Points from each stage are added together to determine each team's final score.
- The team with the most points wins the special exam and receives corresponding rewards (+150 additional class points for 1st place, +90 for 2nd place, +30 for 3rd place).
- For students with outstanding performance:
- 1st place: A ticket for class transfer (limited time).
- 2nd place: +100,000 private points in addition to the class points.
- 3rd place: 1 Protection Point.**Additional Rules:**
- **Fairness:** Any cheating or unfair practices result in immediate disqualification of the entire team.
- **Resources:** Each team receives a starter kit with basic resources, namely a 1.5-liter water bottle, a lunch pack, and a watch that tracks their location and health. If the watch breaks, it can be replaced.
- **Communication:** Throughout the exam, teams are only allowed to communicate within their own team unless explicitly permitted (e.g., in Stage 3).I noted that this special exam is very similar to the island exam, especially with the watches.
"The teams are randomly selected, with 2 students from the first year, 2 from the second year, and 2 from the third year in each team. The teams remain the same for all stages. The bottom three teams will be immediately expelled from the school. Disqualification in any of the stages means expulsion, unless it is an emergency not due to poor performance." sayed Mr Chabashira
