CHAPTER 2 ~ Re meeting HIM

~ continuation of Moe's POV:

There he was, right there in the front row , clear view of me. I just finished and the choir took over after me. I took my seat next to my dad, as the pastor's daughter I sit on stage with my family.

The service was successful and holy.

Bri and I met after and giggled about how Ms. Wanner's wig was slipping the entire time she was on stage.

Then there he was, "aye Bri Ma ready and I'm hungry asf, let's go"

"boy i know you int jus cuss , you mean to tell me you jus went church and you on bs already?"

"aye aye mb, I didn't mean to and sorry church girl moe"

I simply rolled my eyes and said bye to Bri.

I gather my bag and bible and headed to the car.

"Moe was that Sj?" My mom asked

"yeah mommy, thats him alright"

"awww, i remembered when you guys were so cute together and he has grown into a handsome young man"

Dad scoffed , he an Sj were cool but after he left to live with his father he never saw him again i guessed their 'bond' broke also.

We got home and i took a shower before eating memaws Sunday food her Bajan and Caribbean cooking is to dieeeeee for ! damn even my mama can't touch her food and MY MON CAN COOK!

I play some Jhene Aiko ~ While we're young , lowkey reminded me on how I wanted to go everywhere with Sj when we were young and how we promised to leave each other sides but yet he left mine. 

I finished showered and changed into some sweats and hoodie.

My mom fixed me a plate of pie (macaroni pie which is like a baked mac and cheese but better than what Americans eat), Fried chicken, Pigtail rice and lamb stew can't forget the coleslaw and potato salad with ah glass of Sorrel; Definitely heaven on earth.

After i finished eat I was stuffed and had an incoming call from bestie. Mind you guys I have nigeritis kicking in and was tired asl , ate way too much than I should have.

"Heyy moe moe"

"heyy" I said slurred

"why you sound like that all drugged out and shi?" she laughed

"uh...uh um I jus finished eat, what's up ?"

"I was wondering if you wanna come with me to this party at Harry Styles, pretty pleaseeeeee!" She bats her long wings at me.

"Yeah ?? NO. Bri how many time i told you that i'm not going to those ghetto, unholy , holygangbang ass parties!"

"did you jus say ass ? oh im so telling" she geeked and laugh

I don't cuss or never did but what this girl don't know is ass is in the bible and refers to the donkey that Jesus rode.

"Bri- ass is in the bible... anyways i'm tired can I shout you later ?"

"okayyyyyyy but ill be calling you back to make sure you get your clothes right" she winks

"girl i done told you ims not going! are you deaf or jus deluded ??"

She laughed and pressed out.

And jus like that i was fast asleep
