A U T H O R
Ekaksh stood infront of the hospital with a melancholy expression lacing his face, some sort of fear crept in him.
The fear of losing them.
His heart beat quicken as he finally entered inside, his eyes searching through the corridors when he finally found reception. Taking slow steps he reached there.
"Excuse me...May I know where Dr. Davies might be?" He questioned up in a polite manner.
Receptionist smiled little and after searching through something before she replied in a hurried tone.
"Yea on the 1st floor, right side first cabin is of her."
Ekaksh disregard the ill behaviour and proceed into the guided direction.
Enough of turns and soon he was standing infront of a door on which Dr. Astrid Davies was printed in bold letters.
Ekaksh felt his heart beat rose up for a moment as he registered the name written ahead him.
He looked other side comprehending the actions of his heart before he gently knocked on the door. His heart heavy with unwavering fear that crept into his heart and for some reasons he did not liked it even a bit.
After some minutes passed by, he heard same soft voice asking him to come in. His heart fluttered hearing that voice again as a sense of something strange yet known to him was deep inside in his heart.
Taking a deep breath calming his racing thoughts he gently pushed open the door, his eyes taking in a beautiful ginger haired girl sitting there.
Her eyes were busy reading a prescription when she rose her gaze up. Their eyes got locked in a eye contact and he felt his heart flipping in a kind of happiness he wasn't certain about.
He gulped and finally entered inside, she gave him a smile which he tried to return.
"I assume you are the one i talked to that day?"
Her soft question pushed him out of his trance as he nodded his head absent-minded, his thoughts were drifting off to some wild fantasies he didn't want to fantasize about specially with the girl sitting ahead him.
And not in this situation.
"I understood the situation you are in but we are trying to do our best to save them but as the glass pieces were badly pierced into their skins and they had lost a way to much blood it is a little hard but we are trying."
Her words settled in his mind as he felt sudden suffocation, his heart ached that now it was getting harder for him to even breath properly.
Astrid gently stood up and went towards him with a glass of water. He took the glass, his hand trembling but he managed to grab the glass steadily.
Astrid sat on her seat as she waited for him to calm down.
Ekaksh calmed down a little, his heart still heavy stoping him to breath properly. Taking his time to breath, he finally asked in a low voice.
"Now what doctor?"
Astrid just sat there looking at him, her heart squeezed seeing him in this condition but why she never felt like this for any other person then why him.
These questions lingered in her mind but there were no answer to them.
She sighed and nodded her head before looking at him with a sense of fear in her heart.
"I am afraid that your mother won't make it...her condition is so crucial at this moment. How ever we can't say the same for your father right now."
Ekaksh sat there all numb, his vision turning hazy with the time as tears made there way till his eyes but never escaped. Though he tried to not show it but she knew better to it.
Astrid gently grabbed his hand in hers giving him silent support while all he could do was regret about something he had no control on.
