The two sides of the Uzumaki

Chapter 1

-Naruto woke up with a start sitting up in bed quickly his chest heaving after last night events he shook his head- it was just a dream relax. -he glances over at the bed stand and noticed a sword about his size in a light blue sheath this confirmed last night was not just a dream he reached over and gently took his soul slayer sword and took it out slowly inspecting the blade it just just the right length for him to use comfortably he knew form watching his sister it would grow with him. as he started at it he recalled some of the events from the night before-

Naruto woke up to oddly find himself in a tree glancing around he noticed he was standing in a fairly small oasis  he glanced at the water there was a small whirlpool there that drew him to it so he walked to the water edge. as he reached it he heard a voice behind him-  so the king has finally come to pay us a visit to to bad the other is still sleeping he looked back towards the voice.

RING RING RING RING 
-Naruto jumped as the alarm clock went off interrupting his though he frowned and reached over and hit the thing to turn it off only for it to break form it he glanced at his arm surprised he didn't put Chakra behind that though it explains why his sister was generally stronger then he was. He got up to take a quick shower and get dressed making a quick storage seal on his arm to keep his new weapon mostly because it would get in the way till he learned to use it and went down to eat breakfast.-

-Naruto came down stairs to see his sister eating breakfast and his parents getting ready to go getting a good luck form his father and such but little form his mother before they left he went to eat before school giving a polite hello to his sister  before eating thankfully they didn't have time for her to try and get him in trouble before they had to go to the academy as usually they split off on the way his sister going to meet her friends and he his own he found the pair he was looking for on the way there Choji and Shikamaru he joined them on there march to the exams and spoke with them some about it and of course there interests food and being lazy respectively.-
 

-as normal the trio got there fairly early and went to there seats and watched as the others came in Kiba who was not a fan of Naruto's either next Hinata who had a painfully noticeable crush on him he might have taken her up on some dates if she was not painfully shy and timid he didn't want to get to close to her sense she was likely to die in a field because of it.  he had heard enough story's from people like Kakashi and his god parents to know to avoid that. Next was Sasuke Uchiha the self titled last Uchiha after there clans attempt at a coup failed resulting in most of the elites of there clans death expect for his older bother who he despised he also seem to come to hate Naruto as well over the years because he was one of the few in the class who beat him occasionally at Taijutsu his sister being one of the other which oddly seemed to have to opposite effect on him he shakes his head and glances at the doors at the twin shouts of- I GOT HERE FIRST -he glanced at the blonde and pink banshees of the class  Sauske's fan girls he knew Ino while she had a horrible screech when she was upset she was more tolerable and more likely to survive then here "rival" Sakura who was the second top Konoichi besides his sister because of here book smarts the only way shed survive this world is if she found a way to use her voice as a weapon. the two proceeded to fight for the spot next to Sasuke untell the teacher came in and told hollered for them to sit down and shut up and thus begun the most dull part of the exams.-

-Naruto whipped around to meet the owner of the fairly dark sounding voice only to meet what looks like a "dark" version of himself- where are we? -Naruto asked the being in front of him.- this area is part of you dimwit -the replies making Naruto comically get a bulging  vain in his forehead but he made himself hold back form attacking- alright then why are we here and who are you supposed to be -he got a amused chuckle in return- oh you don't remember your sister almost killed you last night i'm sick of you being so weak! and sense i cant even try to take control till shes awake i guess ill just have to lend you some of my power to make sure you don't get us killed before i can take over --the darker half of him grins he went to speak again instead of his voice it sounded like Iruka- DAMN IT NARUTO NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO SLEEP!
                                                                 [Flashback end]
-Naruto woke up with a start looking at the table he sighs in relief to see the test was not being drooled on and looks irritably at the person shouting at him.- would you prefer id have been up causing problems during the test Sensai? -he asked bemusedly getting up to follow the others out to take the other tests getting a good score just under Sasukes on target practice  and beating him and getting the top score for the males in the class for the test getting some cry's of disbelieve or that he cheated. [Sakura] They went to do the technique tests being called up one at a time for it  he got up and went as he was called being wished luck by Hinata as he did he gave her a smile an a thumps up as if to say don't worry i have this.- He went and performed the basic three flawlessly thanks to the heavy Chakra control training his family did together at lest at first when asked for a  extra Jutsu he thinks and finds a dummy in the room and points his finger at it a small orangish red sphere appeared on his finger tip he- bala -he intoned firing it taking off the dummy's head he looks surprised himself that actually worked he grins sheepishly but got a good grade and was given his head band.- 

-Naruto was again woken up as the Teachers called for there attention as they followed the last student a civilian i think who failed out of the room and told all those who competed to come back tomorrow Naruto went towards the Hokage's tower rather then home unlike this sister to tell his dad about it knocking on the door and entering he smile at his father he was a bit unnerved meeting the black and blue eyed mans gaze at lest till it relaxed he spent the a half an hour or so talking about it.-

Minato Namikaze had lost his right eye years earlier during the failed Uchiha coup he had come up with a plan that worked surprisingly well to stop it rather then force a young Uchiha to kill most of his clan it was crazy enough it worked. [Naruto had to get the ability to make strange but effective plans from somewhere] he had arranged to go solo on a diplomatic mission away form the village making sure the Uchiha knew and outing on there arrogance he was "ambushed on the way there by the elites of Uchiha clan including Itachi who was loyal over all it was a very long and difficult fight  even with Itachi and his bestirred turning on his clan and helping him unfortunately during the fighting another group within the village attempted on his life as well once they where worn down they where attacked by Root ANBU taking Itachi's friends life along with Mianto's right eye because he was Hokage and a very powerful ninja to the village [and with a very scary wife] he got a transplant pretty quickly and ended up with a Uchiha's eye though for some reason unlike his student his turned off and refused to change to Sharingan. this stumped Tsunade who had done the transplant as it stood all they could do was wait and see if anything happened.

-Naruto had left the office after half an hour of talking to his father in a good mood he went home to rest for the night avoiding his sister and the kitchen where he smelt her cooking dinner he got something to eat on the way home with the money Minato gave him for it he fell gratefully into a dreamless sleep-

-The next day we find Naruto waiting for the team assignments- [the teams are called off like cannon]
-he was not at all surprised when he heard his sister got to apprenticed to his mother they had not even noticed him wearing his sword around today. then his team was called- team 7 will be Naruto Namikaze Sakura [cue whine of being doomed from her] and Sasuke Uchiha [cue cheer from the pink banshee about love conquering all and a whine form Ino] lead by Kakashi Hakate -Naruto could only put his head down and hope this would all go away he muttered under his breath- Fuck me.
