In her mind, they go hand in hand. Theres no point using one on its own. She never understood why she used it anyway, it was just something you did and besides, it never really did anything for her hair.
Maybe she was doing it wrong.
She thinks about this as she opens a pint of newly bought ice cream. It's cookies and cream, special edition, her favourite. Tearing off the lid she searches for a spoon, a dessert sized one as opposed to the little teaspoons she used when he was here. She loads it on and sighs into the mouthful, it's been a long time.
Enjoying herself, she catches herself thinking that he never liked sweet things. With him it was all gyms, salads and those goddamn early morning jogs. She did, however, catch him eating a chocolate bar three weeks ago. Monday to be exact; supposedly their healthiest day of the week. They let it go, but she knows that she had never been allowed to do that.
