Her friends manage to convince her that enough is enough and that no, she doesn't need to know what happened to 'those Rosewood girls'. They'll be here when she gets back and they'll probably be there long after.
They take her out for coffee, entertain her with stories about their lives all the while staying far away from any mention of him. She begins to contribute some of her own tales, all things to do with the internet of course, but her friends laugh with her and make her feel included.
She returns home happy and realises in the aftermath of that social interaction, she does need to shower after all.
'those rosewood girls' is a reference to pretty little liars, in case anyone was confused
