When Li Chaoxing woke up in the morning, without waking up in the middle of the night because of a nightmare, engulfed in a comfortable warmth, she was shocked to say the least. She felt arms holding her tight but not too tight that it felt uncomfortable. Her legs were all tangled up with another pair of legs. And she was pressed against another body. When she looked up she saw the peacefully sleeping Han Sicheng. He was so... so SOOOO ADORABLE!!! But obviously she felt quite embarrassed, they both fell asleep and snuggled up to each other. Plus...she had to pee.

She tried carefully lifting his arms but in response he only held her tighter. Whatever she did, it did not work so... she decided that she had to wake him up. Li Chaoxing nudged him, but he didn't want to wake up.

"Hanhan, wake up please." She asked while poking him in the cheek. He hummed and groggily opened his eyes, he stared at her for a good minute before closing his eyes again and reopening them. It seemed like he couldn't believe that they had actually slept together. Not that kind of sleeping together but like actually sleeping.

Then he closed his eyes again.

"Hanhan, I need to pee." She whispered again, poking his cheek. He reluctantly freed her as she got up and went to the bathroom. They both actually fell asleep with their clothes on, not that they should have slept naked but... Li Chaoxing was still wearing her dress and Han Sicheng was still wearing his outfit.

After refreshing, she went back to her room and found Han Sicheng awkwardly sitting on her bed. Li Chaoxing suddenly also felt awkward. Then he said: "Titanic."

"What?" She was super confused.

"I thought it would be a great icebreaker..." It was silent for a few minutes before Li Chaoxing bursted out laughing while Han Sicheng was clearly embarrassed.

"...stop laughing"

Li Chaoxing walked up to him and pulled his cheeks. "You are soooo cute, do you know that?" It was so easy to make him blush and they both knew that, one enjoying it more than the other. He was tired from her constant bullying yet he wished for it to continue forever.

Han Sicheng was still not sure what exactly is going on inside her head. What if it was just an act to get back with Yu Feng? Or what if she is just using him to get over her break up?

He wants it to be real and genuine. He wants for them to last forever and to have trust. But he was just not so sure and he knew that if he wanted answers he'd have to ask but, he's scared of the answer to those questions. Yet at the moment he felt confident enough to ask.

"I have a question..." Han Sicheng said in a serious tone that made Li Chaoxing realise he was actually being serious right now.

"I'm all ears."

He was struggling in forming the questions and using the right words. It took some time, but Chaoxing was patient and gave him all the time he needed.

"Are you... trying to get back together with Yu Feng?" It was not exactly what he wanted to ask but it just slipped out.

"What? No, of course not. Why would you think that?" Li Chaoxing answered softly. She kind of knew the answer already, but she knew from the past that communicating is the foundation to a relationship.

"It's just... something stupid." At the first part he looked her in the eyes with an emotion she couldn't decipher yet she knew that it was something deep. And at the second part he looked away and averted his gaze.

"It's not something stupid, whatever it is, you can tell me. Communication is so important and I want you to tell me when something is bothering you... please, what's wrong?"

"I... I'm not sure what's going on now. I'm not sure what to think or what to make of this. I don't know why you're like this, is it to get back with Yu feng or maybe get revenge I don't know... But I want it to be real and genuine, if right now for you it isn't genuine then that's okay, I'll try my best. I just... I don't know..." At this point he was just rambling, but she didn't mind. In fact, she was happy that he was sharing his concerns with her so she could help him and after he finished, she gently held his hands in her lap.

"It's true that I want revenge, but not like this. 'We' are not the revenge. And what I feel and do with you is genuine. I want us to try and to form something and even if, and I mean IF we were not to be together in the future, I would never return to Yu Feng." He was a bit ashamed of himself but if you were to ask him why he wouldn't have much of an answer to you.

Li Chaoxing still held his hands in hers and she brought them to her lips. She gave them a slight peck before looking him in the eyes. "It's totally reasonable that you feel like that and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'm happy you told me and did not just keep it to yourself. Thank you." His heart started racing looking at her gorgeous eyes and at that dazzling, small, genuine smile on her face. At this he showed his own little genuine smile.

As she slowly leaned in, so did he. When their lips were about to meet, the door bursted open. Chaoxing and Hanhan backed off from each other as her mother, Yang Ruqin entered. Han Sicheng was clearly flustered, while Li Chaoxing pretended as if nothing had ever happened.
