Cold,

Scorching,

That's how Liliy liked her whiskey. It was unfortunately not how others liked for him to take their whiskey. While other girls spent their time dancing around for future babymaking prospects, Liliy would rather spend her time with a tall dark glass rather than some preppy Bridgerton or god forbidden someone like Theo Sharpe.

The only thing sharp about that boy was the loud mouth he liked to carry in night clubs Liliy thought to herself taking another shot of whiskey.

"Thinking of me again?"

God how he wished they could forget that voice.

"Yes Theodore, I was thinking about you and your lousy shots," she smirked, handing the empty shot glass to Theo.

He grasped back at the cup, feeling what was left of his warmth leave the glass. He bit his inner cheek, "oh yeah? Do you want to take up on that offer Carlite?"

"Oh to do what? To walk you sadly walk drunkly home waiting for a girl to sweep you off your feet?"

"Haha! I mind you I do all the wiping with my women."

"You mean those girls you call women."

"Would you rather I find out what a women is? Would you rather I find you out-"

"No," Liliy said quickly cutting Theo off.

"You couldn't handle a girl like me."

"Says who?"

"Me. Now if you excuse me I'm going to get another round of shots," Liliy said noticing Theo's brow burrowed.

As if, they thought to himself. Theo deserves someone who will not argue with him all the time, someone who is a lover not an enemy.

Liliy goes outside for fresh air, counter to what he said to Theo, she didn't need anymore drinks, she didn't need anyone in fact.

Liliy wobbled as she stepped out the bar. Had she really had that much?

Her house, if you could even call it that was only a few blocks away, any drunk bloke could get it.

They continued on, the moonlight blurring on her skin and her eyes becoming for closer together.

One more step, they thought.

"Woah, are you okay there Miss Carlite?," a familiar voice said, a familiar voice that belonged to one Colin Bridgerton.
