"What is it to you Bridgerton?" Liliy spit out, wobbling from side to side.

"It is what it is to a gentleman," Colin said not wavering a word.

"And since when were you a gentleman sunny boy?"

Liliy didn't even know where the nickname came from herself. They bit on their tongue, maybe he had been a little mean.

But if she had, Colin still didn't waver, in fact if anything he was pleased.

"Since forever, and as forever goes on well, forever, I will see to it that you get home safely, may I carry you back?"

"Wow, such a gentleman, has anyone ever told you that you're better off living for yourself," it meant to come off meaner, but Liliy's voice couldn't help, but soften at the sight of those warm brown eyes.

"Well.. yes," Colin said turning around, "now is it okay that I take you back?"

"Fine."

"Lovely," Colin said, his pants becoming roughed by the ground.

"Don't you care about your clothing? Not everyone has Bridgerton money.." Liliy said, wrapping their arms around Colin. He was warm, Liliy thought to himself.

"Of course, but sometimes sacrifices are important to make, especially in the case of someone as pretty as you."

"Are you flirting with me sunshine?"

"Is that okay?"

"Pft," Liliy said tucking her head away from Colin, "you wouldn't want me.. I'm not.. I'm not how a women should be."

"What if I didn't want what a women should be," Colin said now moving towards Liliy's shed.

"Then I'd call you crazy Sunshine."

"Then maybe you could call me crazy."

Liliy truly laughed that one, Colin Bridgerton. 3rd son of Violet Bridgerton and one who comes from a large estate.

"If this is a joke, it's an rather elaborate joke Mr.Bridgerton."

"Mr.Bridgerton? No Sunshine? No Sunny boy?," Colin said putting Liliy next to their shed.

"Buy me a drink first, then we'll see Sunshine," Liliy says parting his way into his shed.

"Wait!"

"May I ask why you call me that?"

Liliy sighed, leaning on the side of her shed,

"Because Sunshine Bridgerton, you're too sweet for me. You're pure, good, sunshine."

"And you're not?"

"Oh Sunshine, you wish," Liliy said softly smiling before closing the door on him.

Colin, even faced back with the door, blushed. Liliy was everything that he needed, and he was going to make her his.

That is at least, unless Theo doesn't get to them first.
