When Jimin and Jungkook came down the tower, it was extremely embarrassing. Especially for Jimin since the hint of the milky scent attached to his wysteria was no longer with him.

Luckily, everyone was treating him normally.

Arguably, this was all part of the natural process of life, so no one had the right to tease him.

Well maybe except a certain noble who would never miss such opportunities to tease the prince.

Next, as part of traditions the two had a parade that goes around the capital. They'd be in a extravagant carriage, waving like a royal should and interacting with townspeople as their carriage slowly moved. People usually throw flowers and petals from above the buildings as the carriage moved through their streets.

Then over the next couple weeks, the newly mated couple would be attended banquets and balls hosted by prominent noble families in honour and celebration of their mating.

While Jimin and Jungkook were busy with their schedules.

Taehyung had been thinking about Yoongi's words to him. He made them his strength and decided to take a stance for himself.

"Taehyung, you received a birthday party invite from Lord Cho's second daughter. You should attend. It'll be good for you two to be familiarised with each other since she's a potential mate for you-"

"No father," Taehyung responded.

"What?" His father's features hardened.

"I have no interest in mating someone I do not love,"

"That's why i'm telling you to see her and get to know her. Love will naturally build,"

"I..." Taehyung bit his bottom lip then exhaled. "I have no interest in omegas, You know this. Their pheromones make me uncomfortable,"

"Are you still saying such absurd things? Grow up, you are the heir to this family and an alpha. It's utterly ridiculous for an alpha to dislike omega pheromones. How are you supposed to carry our lineage if you do not mate with an omega?"

"I'll adopt or Taehee's children can become the heirs. That is not a problem.... Do you not care about your son's happiness father? Is the lineage all that you care about? I've been doing everything you've ever asked for obediently, I've excelled academically and in sports, I've proven myself worthy to handle the bussines and bring profit from when you gave me the project last year. I don't see why the mate I need to spend the rest of MY life needs to be any of your concern or anyone else's for that matter," Taehyung was fuming. His eyes changed into a bright golden colour of his wolf in a challenging glare.

All his feelings have been bottled for so long, it all burst out together. He was tired of his life being layed out for him.

"I've lived my life trying to get validation from you, to not disappoint you. But You've never stopped Think about what I want. Not anymore though. Who I mate is up to me to decide. Do not interfere with my personal life choices father," He says before turning around and striding out of his father's office.

Taehyungs hands were shaking as he immediately got inside his carriage. He wanted to see Yoongi. He needed the olders warm cinnemon scent. He wants to hear the voice that reassured him.

" The palace please, " He said to the carriage driver in a shaky voice.

Jimin and Jungkooks schedule that evening were cleared to allow the couple to spend some time together to nurture their newly created bond.
