Taehyung nibbled on his bottom lip as he watched Yoongi observe his finished artwork. The older was taking a while to say something.

maybe he hates it and doesn't want to say anything to in case he's worried it'd hurt me?

"I er... " Taehyung didn't know what to say, there was an internal panic inside him. And he is never one to panic.

"It's amazing, you've captured the moment with so much detail like it happened front of you right right now though this was three years ago," Yoongi breathes out. "You're truly talented young lord. It's a shock you do this just as a hobby,"

"You... you like it?" Taehyung's eyes widen.

Yoongi nods with an appreciative hum. "I'd be a fool not to. I may not show it much but I know how to appreciate a good artwork. It's my first time receiving a painting of myself as a gift though. I really do appreciate it. Thank you,"

"O-oh You don't have to thank me, this is my appreciation gift to you after all. I'm glad you like it," The young noble's cheeks heat up a little as he smiled widely.

"I'd like to hang this in my room," Yoongi says. "But I'm not sure where it'd be most suitable. Could you maybe help me decide?"

Yoongi didn't know why he needed help for such a small matter but he didn't want to separate from Taehyung yet. He wanted to be in his company for a little longer so that was the best excuse his consciousness could come up with.

"Yes. Of course I can help. Let me just clean up. I'll be with you in abit," Taehyung rushes to remove his apron and rinse the paint of his hand and face. He then changes into a different outfit before making his way to Yoongi's room.

The general also seemed to be changed into more comfortable clothes from his work clothes. He looked much more relaxed.

"Your room is neat as expected," Taehyung let his eyes roam around a little out of curiosity. It was his first time inside Yoongi's room. His heart raced a little fast and he did his best to keep his scent neutral and not show his excitement.

"Thank you. I don't really like keeping things out of place. Jihyun would say I worried too much about being neat though,"

"If it makes you comfortable, I think it's good. It just shows how much of an organised person you are. It's a good quality to have," Taehyung eyes some of the medals on display inside a glass box.

"I see..." Yoongi watches him as the younger points to some of his trophies.

"Oh I remember when you got this,"

Taehyung would say.

"Where do you think the painting would suit the best?" Yoongi asks after Taehyung took a seat on the couch by the window.

Taehyung scans the room again with his eyes, paying more attention on the walls. "How about above your bed?" He points out. There were space on the other sides of the wall too but it felt right above the bed.

"let's give it a try,"

Moments later, the two worked together to put up the painting above Yoongi's bed and took a look at it from afar.

"I think it's perfect," Taehyung nods.

"Agreed. Thank you for your help. Would you like some tea since you're here?"

And who was Taehyung to say no to this man. "Sure,"

They spent chatting some more while drinking the tea as Taehyung shared some stories about how he'd come to like art. Yoongi intently listened commenting or giving an input whenever needed. Soon the young noble bid the general a goodnight much to Yoongi's dismay, maybe he wanted to listen to Taehyung's deep smooth voice for a little longer. But he brushed of that feeling and acted normal.
