Dazai spent the rest of the day wrapped up in bed with Chuuya next to him, the two didn't do anything but lay in bed all day with Chuuya occasionally getting up to bring Dazai snacks even though he kept refusing them.

The two held each other occasionally and when they weren't in eachothers arms Chuuya would be twirling and playing with Dazai's hair, it was something he did often. Dazai's hair was surprisingly soft and fluffy despite his poor hygiene, so no wonder it was one of the things Chuuya liked most about Dazai.

The two were physically affectionate with each other but never questioned it, never asked any questions about it, they just both wanted to enjoy it while it lasted without ever considering the possibility that the other might have similar feelings to themself.

As the light coming in through the blinds dimmed Chuuya raised his head for a moment and realised how late it had gotten, he was almost in disbelief that he had spent all day in bed, with Dazai.. but he was more shocked at the fact that Dazai hadn't said anything the entire time. He was usually quite talkative.

He leant over to Dazai to see if he was awake, whilst he did have his eyes closed that didn't prove anything.

“I'm gonna go to the bathroom okay?”

Chuuya whispered to Dazai as he slowly pushed himself up off of the bed and onto the marble floor. Before fully leaving the room he took one last glance over at Dazai, with a sigh he walked out and into the bathroom across the hall.

Whilst he did actually have to use the bathroom he decided this was a good time to check his phone, he hadn't messaged or spoken to anyone all day, he just hoped that he didn't miss anything work related. Even though it was the weekend Mori never failed to bother him when he was off from work.

Speaking of which, where was his phone?

Chuuya spent a few minutes looking around for it before finding it downstairs in the kitchen. He must've left it there when he came to greet Dazai in the morning.

Clicking it on he found exactly what he feared the most.

5 missed calls. All from Mori.

Chuuya sighed with a hint of irritation in his voice. He took a few moments to think and decided to call Mori back.

He put the phone up to his ear and listened for a few moments while it rang, it wasn't long until someone on the other end answered.

“Chuuya-kun?”

Chuuya tensed up a little at the sound of Mori's voice as he realised he hadn't prepared an excuse, well Mori had already picked up so he has to say something now.

“My apologies Boss, I didn't have my phone on me, what did you need me for?”

Chuuya spoke quickly and concisely, he wanted to get to the point so that Mori couldn't degrade him about not answering the phone earlier.

“Well I suppose it doesn't matter as of now as it's getting quite late.”

Chuuya heard a sigh on the other end of the phone.

“Am I correct to assume Dazai-kun is with you?”

Chuuya felt a little dumbfounded but didn't respond.

“As I thought. Well, just come in tomorrow morning, I have something I need the two of you to deal with.”

No, this couldn't happen, Dazai wasn't ready to go back to work, not with his current state. It was way too soon for him, especially if he were to see Mori, it was all his fault after all.

“You want Dazai to come in?”

“Why wouldn't I?”

Mori’s tone on the other end of the phone was sly and condescending, it was almost as if Chuuya could hear his cunning smile through the phone. Chuuya hated it. The two were silent for a good few moments.
