Blowing Crystals

Stepping out into the freezing cold

But yet warm, so I am told

The crisp morning air cutting into my lungs

As the wind blows, the snow is sprung

Pulling out the bubbly liquid

Careful, yet excited for what seemed sacred

Blowing to receive the shiny round bubble

Cresting to the ground, the wind making it wobble

Bending down as I watch the crystals form

All of a sudden, came rolling in a storm

Rushing to he door to get inside

Throwing my coat aside

Thinking deeply about that bubble

Yet, making sure to stay humble

What marvelous crystals they were

Even though it made me go "Brrr"
