Sunflowers bright and fragrant
Unfold themselves as the day begins
Now new and open for the world to see
Flowing gracefully in the breeze
Lovely and marvelous as they're born to be
Oh what a sight that was made for you and me
When you see a fascinating yellow in the breeze
Ease a peak towards the meadow
Maybe you'll be lucky enough to see
Ever so much yellow waving in the meadow
A single sunflower can bring such joy
Down in the meadow there's many more
Overhead with the sun shining bright
Waves of sunflowers, so beautiful and light
