As Calum sat brooding in the corner, he couldn't help but overhear Michael's conversation with a group of adoring fans. He scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief. "How can they not see through him?"

The tension between Calum and Michael reached its breaking point. their friendship was shattered into a million irreparable pieces just like Michael had done calums reputation freshman year back when they were best friends, they were inseparable until Michael accused him of killing his brother (even though Michael's brother Chris died due to stomach cancer two years before that, but Michael never actually found out how Chris actually died... but that was his parent's fault...)

"Why do you have to be such a fucking stuck-up cunt all the time?" Calum's voice rose, his frustration boiling over.

"Me? You're the one with the attitude problem," Michael shot back, his eyes flashing angrily.

"ohhh fuck right off"

In a quiet moment of vulnerability, Calum and Michael found themselves opening up to each other. Secrets spilled out, creating a bond neither of them expected.

"do you remember when you accused me of murdering your brother?" Calum asked the bitchy blonde man.

"of fucking course I do, how the fuck could I forget?" Michael said in the most bitchiest tone known to man that he only ever used with Calum.

"well I didn't fucking kill him, your brother died due to stomach cancer," Calum said as gently as he could knowing that this could make Michael explode like a toxic ticking time bomb.

"proof?" Michael genuinely questioned raising an eyebrow at Calum.

calum quickly pulled up the text and shoved the phone in the blonde's face, as he watched Michael read the text from his brother, there was something in his eyes, this was different, this was something Calum had never ever, ever in his entire life seen in his eyes before this moment... what was it...?

Then, as if the universe was playing a cruel joke, the elevator they were in suddenly jolted to a stop, leaving them trapped in a hell hole.

Forced to tolerate each other's presence, Calum and Michael found themselves in an unexpected truce. The silence was deafening, broken only by the occasional awkward cough.

Calum let out a sigh. "So, any brilliant ideas on how to get out of here?"

Michael leaned against the wall, "I don't know, maybe if we both press the emergency button at the same time, someone will come to check on us."

Calum nodded, "Yeah, worth a shot."

After a few moments of pressing the button in unison, the elevator remained silent.

"Great, now what?" Calum muttered, frustration evident in his voice.

"I guess we wait," Michael replied, a hint of resignation in his tone.

As the minutes ticked by, the tension between them began to ease. They started sharing childhood stories and laughing at each other's embarrassing moments.

"I never knew you were such a klutz," Calum chuckled.

"And I never knew you were afraid of spiders," Michael teased.

The unexpected bonding experience in the confined space brought them closer than ever before. Maybe being stuck in the elevator with "Mr. Perfect" wasn't such a bad thing? what was he thinking of course it's a bad thing??? right??
