Ty pulled up to the Chastain household few hours after their courthouse elopement. Ty had to go back to the shop for a last-minute thing Coach had called him about as they walked through Marshall Park. By the time he had gotten back to his apartment, Jocelyn had changed out of her white dress into a more casual sundress. Of course, Ty greeted his bride with a kiss that had left her completely breathless. And as much as she wanted to, Jocelyn had declined his offer to take her to their bedroom. That would to wait until after dinner.
"You're thinking awfully hard over there, Mr. Gibbs." Ty turned to look at Jocelyn. "Thinking about anything in particular?"
"Not really. Just thinking about how we actually got married today." Jocelyn laughed. "My mom is going to be so pissed when she finds out."
"I know. Let's enjoy this until we start telling everyone, okay?" Ty just nodded. "Ready to go inside."
"Absolutely." Ty got out of the Supra first before coming around to help his wife out. He took her hand in his as they headed to the front door. The couple walked right in without knocking.
"We're here!" Jocelyn called out.
"Jocie!" They both heard the voice of Bennett Chastain before seeing him running to the front door. Jocelyn knelt down and scooped him up.
"BB!"
"Marry me?" Bennett asked. Jocelyn laughed.
"No, BB. I married Ty." Bennett frowned
"No Ty. Marry me."
"Sorry buddy." Bennett looked at Ty, narrowing his eye. Ty couldn't help but laugh.
"Mean Ty."
"I know I'm mean." The trio headed into the kitchen, finding Christopher, Morgan, Taylor, and Ross standing around the kitchen island.
"Briar sleeping?"
"Yeah, and that's where Bennett is heading soon." Ross said, taking his son from Jocelyn.
"Not tired." Bennett told his dad.
"Too bad, buddy. It's almost bedtime.
"Mean daddy."
"The meanest." Ross said with a laugh.
"Dinner is almost ready." Taylor announced.
"Ice cream, daddy?"
"Sure."
"Ross Lee! He doesn't need that tonight." Taylor scolded her husband.
"It's a special occasion Tay. Bennett's girlfriend got married." Taylor couldn't help but laugh.
"Fine, but no more for the rest of the week. Understood?" Ross only saluted her before heading to the freezer. "Thirsty?"
"Water for me." Ty said.
"Joce, wine?"
"Absolutely." Jocelyn said as she sat down next to Morgan.
"When should we expect you two to start having babies?" Christopher asked. Taylor set a glass of wine in front of Jocelyn.
"Christopher!" Morgan smacked her husband's arm. "We've talked about this!"
"They have options, Morgan. I wasn't talking about that."
"We literally just got married a couple of hours ago. We just wanted to enjoy married life just the two of us for a but before we think about anything else." Ty told his teammate. "I'm only 23, we have time."
"She's 35, Ty." Christopher said.
"We're fine just the two of us right now. Promise." Jocelyn said. She took a sip out the glass in front of her. "We have to get through telling our families too."
"Heather and Patricia Gibbs are going to be so mad." Christoper replied.
"I'm going to have to butter them up before telling them."
"Evan, Daphne, and the kids are going to be a breeze. Marisa is going to be mad that I didn't include her and..." As if she knew, Jocelyn's phone started to ring. It was Marisa. "Speaking of. Hey Issa!"
"Girl, I have been trying to get a hold of you all day!" Jocelyn walked out of the kitchen into the foyer.
"I'm sorry, I had an appointment this afternoon that I had to get ready for and..."
"What kind of appointment are we talking about here?"
"Well..."
"What did you do, Jocelyn Grace Davis?"
"It's actually Gibbs now. Ty and I got married this afternoon." Jocelyn said. Marisa went quiet. "Issa..."
"Can you repeat that? I could have sworn you said you and Ty got married."
"We did. At the courthouse."
"Oh my God."
"Marisa..."
"It's about fucking time you two for back together!"
"We've been back together for a few weeks, Issa."
"I know, but I knew this is where you two needed to be."
"You're not mad?"
"Of course not! I mean, I am upset you didn't tell me ahead of time. I would have been there with you!"
"I know, I just figured you had a lot going on with Lucia and the new line dropping soon."
"You're my best friend, Jocie. I would drop everything for you."
"I would too."
"Jared, Lucia, and I would love to make some time to come visit you two soon, okay?"
"Absolutely." They said their goodbyes before hanging up. Jocelyn returned to the kitchen to find dinner was ready.
"Did you tell her?" Ty asked.
"Of course. Her, Jared, and Lucia are going to come visit soon." Jocelyn said as she sat down next to her husband. Ty stood back up out of his chair.
"Before we eat, I just want to thank you all for being there for us today. Christopher and Morgan at the courthouse and Taylor and Ross for having us over for dinner. I honestly never thought I'd would have ever gotten the chance I got today to marry the love of my life, but I did and I'm grateful for it. If you would have told me two months ago that this was going to happen, I would have told you that you're crazy. Thank you for being here with us and being such amazing friends." Jocelyn stood up to press a kiss to Ty's lips. "I love you."
"I love you, too."

"Tell me about these." Ty asked his wife as they laid in his bed together. Wife. Jocelyn was his wife. It had only been a few hours, but he still couldn't believe it. Ty had been surprised at how little convincing he had to do to get Jocelyn to marry him. And the fact that she was okay with the elopement, surprised him too. "Why butterflies?" He trailed his fingers over the delicate detail of the wings. He watched the change on her face. "What's wrong?" She took his hand in her own.
"Those are my losses. These two," She moved his hand to the top two, "Are from my first one. And this one," She moved his hand down. "Is from the second one." Ty frowned. "What?"
"I knew about it." Jocelyn looked at him confused. "Evan called me and told me. Kind of sent me into my spiral."
"Ty..."
"How long did you know?"
"It happened almost immediately after I found out. Less than a week."
"Joce..."
"I hate myself for it. Locked myself up for days afterwards."
"Were you ever going to tell me?"
"Didn't think I would ever have the opportunity to." Jocelyn rested a hand on his cheek. Ty immediately covered it with his own. "That one honestly hurt more than the first one. Emotionally."
"I wish I knew what to say right now to make you feel better." Ty said, taking his hand off hers to wipe the few tears that had fallen.
"I don't feel bad. Not anymore."
"Why are you crying?"
"Thinking back about it. Haven't thought about it in a long time." Ty looked her. "I'm fine. Really."
"I'll drop it. For now." Jocelyn rolled her eyes, but placed a kiss on her husband's lips. "What has my wife been doing the last three years?"
"Living. Kinda."
"Did you date anyone?"
"Ty..."
"You know I did. You did stalk her on social media, remember?" Jocelyn let out a groan.
"Don't remind me."
"So?"
"His name was Jake. I met him the November after I left. I was moving into my new place when Carl knocked me over."
"Who is Carl?"
"Carl is his dog. Irish Wolfhound. Big dog. He apologized then asked me if I wanted to get coffee."
"I'm going to assume you did."
"I did. He asked me if I wanted to do dinner some time. I declined. I didn't see him for another three weeks. Ran into him at Daphne's restaurant. He was her wine guy."
"Oh."
"Yeah. It didn't last long. Between us. 8 months."
"Did you two..."
"You really shouldn't ask questions you don't want the answer to."
"You did."
"I did. It didn't feel right though. I tried. I told him I couldn't see him anymore."
"Why?"
"Mercer told me about Elsie being spotted. That's when I told him. Being with him felt wrong. Everything felt wrong for the last three years. Like I wasn't whole."
"And now?"
"Completely whole. You complete me."
"Such a sap." Ty with a quiet laugh. "Is that why did took zero convincing to get you to marry me?"
"If you would have asked me the day of the Catwalk for a Cause, before I left, I would have. I would have skipped the event and eloped with you that day."
"Had I known that was an option..." Jocelyn pressed her lips to his.
"Evie probably would have still made that phone call..."
"You wouldn't have ran if we got married, would you have?"
"I don't think so." There was a long silent moment before Jocelyn spoke again. "Did you and Elsie..."
"You already know that answer to that. I turned back into a good Christian boy for my mom."
"Such a good son."
"Until she finds out what we did."
"When are you planning on tell her?"
"Soon. I just want this to be you and I right now. I haven't had you in almost three years." He put his hand on her cheek, tracing his thumb across her bottom lip. "I never want to leave this bed." Jocelyn just smiled.
"Neither do I."
"It's so nice that we're on the same page." Ty closed the distance between them, pressing his lips to hers. He wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her flushed to him.
"We just did this." Jocelyn mumbled against his lips.
"It's okay, we're married now." Jocelyn found herself on her back as she let Ty settle between her legs.
"Is that your reasoning for doing this as much as possible?"
"Maybe. Is it going to work?"
"Clearly."
