It had been a long day at the race shop and all Ty wanted to do was get home to his wife. His wife. He and Jocelyn had been married for last last three weeks and they still have managed not to say anything to anyone yet. Soon. Ty had family dinner that night and he was going to tell his mom first. Ty was hoping she'll take it well. Ty walked into his apartment, hearing Jocelyn's voice right away and she didn't sound happy. Ty had never heard her this upset.
"How in the hell did he even find out about them?" She asked. Ty walked into the kitchen, finding Jocelyn on the phone and pacing the floor. "What do you mean he opened my mail? Why am I still getting mail there? I haven't lived there in almost four years." Jocelyn said. "So now he thinks he's entitled to use them? They aren't even fertilized."
"What is going on?" Ty asked in a hushed tone. Jocelyn held up her finger, telling him to hold on. Ty set his keys on the counter.
"He went ahead and fertilized them without my consent?" Jocelyn paused, listening to the other person. "We're filing a lawsuit then? Okay. That means a trip to Denver. I'll talk to you soon. Bye." Jocelyn hung up and set her phone on the counter.
"What is going on?" Jocelyn took a deep breath.
"Ben found out about the eggs I had frozen."
"What?"
"After my miscarriage, I decided to freeze some of my eggs to possibly use in the future. But, having kids never came up with him. I honestly forgot about them. Until I got a call from my lawyer in Denver."
"What did he do?"
"Fertilized them. So he can use them with his new wife."
"Wife?" Jocelyn rolled her eyes. "He can't use them, can he?"
"He can't. But, unfortunately, I have to take him to court. My lawyer is filing the suit as we speak."
"Just when we thought you didn't have to deal with him."
"Enough about that. How was your day?"
"Long. Way too many meetings." Ty grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to him, placing a kiss on his wife's lips. "What did you do?"
"Made a lot of phone calls. Landlord in Toronto, moving company, my brother."
"Did you tell your brother?"
"I did. Honestly, he wasn't surprised. Are you hungry?" Jocelyn asked, changing the subject.
"I've got family dinner tonight. I plan on telling mom."
"Oh."
"I can't keep it from her forever."
"I know, I know. I'm nervous."
"I'm going to shower and get ready. What are you going to do?"
"I'll see if Mercer wants to go get dinner." Before Jocelyn could pull herself away, Ty dragged her off to the bathroom. "Ty!" She squealed, laughing as they got into the bathroom.
"What?"
"I'm not going to be the reason you're late for dinner."
"I've got plenty of time." They both got undressed before getting into the shower. Ty couldn't help but think about what Jocelyn had done after her miscarriage. Did she still feel like she wanted to be a mom? Did he dare to ask?
"What are you thinking about so hard?"
"Nothing really."
"Ty..."
"Do you want kids?"
"Ty..."
"Freezing eggs is a big deal, Joce."
"I know it is."
"Is that something you want to do?"
"What about you?"
"I will do anything you want to do."
"Do you want kids?"
"If it's with you, of course." They finished their shower before getting dressed again. Ty changed into jeans and a t-shirt, Jocelyn in a sundress. Jocelyn came back out of the bathroom with her hair braided. "Come here." Jocelyn crossed the room, letting Ty wrap his arm around her waist. Jocelyn rested her cheek on the top of his head.
"I'll see you after?"
"Are you coming back here?"
"I feel bad letting Mercer stay in the apartment alone. She only has a couple weeks left."
"I'm sure she's doing fine. Her and AJ have been getting along very well."
"Oh no, I don't want to hear that."
"What? She's 17."
"You know what Evan and I were doing at 17?"
"More than I was at that age." Ty said with a laugh. "I have to get going. I'll see you later."

Ty pulled up to his grandparents house being the last one to show up yet again. He was making a habit of it lately and he knew Heather was going to say something. She was,  unsurprisingly, waiting for him on the front steps when he got out of his car.
"You're late. Again." She said, as Ty made it to the steps.
"Lost track of time."
"You've been doing that a lot lately. Late for dinner, late for comp meetings, late for the plane for race weekends. What is going on?"
"Mom..."
"Something is going on. Everyone has noticed a change in you in the last month and you won't tell anyone."
"I didn't want to do it this way, but..."
"Tyler Randall, what did you do?"
"Got married." Heather stared at her son. "Say something. Please."
"Married? You said you and Elise weren't going to and..."
"I didn't marry Elsie."
"You married a complete stranger? What is wrong with you?"
"I married Jocelyn."
"You did what? How?"
"She came with Mercer so Mercer wasn't in the states alone during the internship program. I honestly didn't think I would see her again, but I did."
"Ty..."
"It's always been her, mom. I was upset and hurt that she left, but seeing her again..."
"You're happy?"
"Happiest I've been in a long time. I'm sorry we got married without telling you, but I just couldn't wait for you to be okay with it."
"So, she's staying. She's not running again?"
"Nope. Promise." The was a long pause, making Ty nervous.
"Okay. Let's go have dinner." Ty followed Heather into the house where the rest of the family was waiting.
"Thank God, I'm starving." Jackson said, getting an eye roll from Ty.
"Don't act like you haven't had three meals and five snacks already today, Jackson." Ty fired back.
"Let's just eat everyone." Ty took the empty seat next to Jackson before everyone started to fill their plates.
"Did you tell her?" Jackson asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"I know she's here. I saw her. Multiple times. With Morgan and Christopher. Heard about DeLuca hitting on her."
"Can we not talk about this now?"
"Talk about what?" Elle asked.
"Nothing. Drop it."
"A certain therapist is back in town." Jackson said, getting a dirty look from Ty.
"Jocelyn is back. Dave and I were thinking about asking her to come back to work for us." Joe chimed in.
"That will go over really well with Ty here." Elle said with a laugh.
"I don't think that will be a problem." Jackson said.
"Shut up, Jackson." Ty kicked his cousin from under the table. Frowning, Jackson returned the favor.
"Can we just eat, please?" Patricia asked her family.
"As soon as Ty explains himself." Elle said.
"I really don't need to."
"You do. You weren't too upset when you and Elsie broke up and now you've been in a much better mood lately. We want to know."
"Elle, not now." Heather scolded her daughter. Elle wasn't budging.
"Come on."
"Fine. If my personal life is so important to you, I'll tell you. Jocelyn and I are back together. Like together together. It's not that big of a deal."
"I knew it. Elle, you owe me 20 bucks." Jackson looked at his cousin. Elle huffed.
"You two bet on me?"
"Why not? I knew she was back, I told Elle about it. We made a bet and I obviously won."
"I'm glad you guys get such joy out of my personal life."
"We're honestly just glad you're happy."
"Thanks, I guess." Ty said, taking a drink of his water.
"So, when's the wedding?" Elle asked, Ty choking on his water.
"Seriously, Elle?"
"How else are you going to stop her from leaving this time?"
"This conversation is officially over. Everyone eat."
