Bunny's P.O.V

The pack was currently running rampant as winter had suddenly arrived early with an impressive fierceness. Everyone was running about trying to fast track winter preparations.

No one had foreseen the season changing to arrive a month before the usual time, but Mother Earth was often a chaotic vessel to display the Goddess' will. If Goddess wanted winter to come early, then Mother Earth would see to that happening.

I just wish there was some warning. Although I usually enjoy such electric energy with the pack, it was no fun since the overall aura being sent out was one of stress. All pack members were all hands on deck with winter prep, and I was no exception.

My job is usually organization based as I had a particular knack for it. I would be grouped with Squad 1, and we would help ration resources and supplies so the pack may comfortably hibernate during the bulk of winter. Yet this year my help would be directed elsewhere.

I, under the order of Alpha, was moved to Squad 3 as my proficient knowledge of foraging within the pack's forests would be more helpful than my keen organization skills. I understood the change up, though I was worried how Squad 1 would handle it without me.

I suppose they would be fine, as they are acutely aware of my system. It didn't stop me from worrying though. But I have resigned myself to focusing my worry elsewhere.

The pack would need food to survive the winter. A lot more than usual since we have seemed to acquire an extra month. Although we aren't the largest pack in the world, that title is held by Pack Xavien, we are still of a substantial size.

One that is ever growing as many of our pack have recently become mothers. All that to say, we need food. And we must act quickly before winter truly sets in and the forest becomes barren.

Which is why our best hunters and foragers have been tasked to Squad 3 to boost the chances of acquiring enough food. I am one of the best, if not the best. I spend quite a-lot of time in the forests.

"Squad 3 please report to the Meet-up location at the edge of Township." The Luna's voice rings in my head as she sends out a message to the pack. I pick up my pace, breaking into a light jog as I head towards the edge of Township. Wolfe is held securely to my chest so as to not give her motion sickness.

I wonder at all if bunnies can get motion sick, but I hold her tightly anyway so as to not risk the chance. As I get closer to the meet-up spot I see my dearest friend Robin waving at me.

She was a vision in orange, as she was wearing a bright orange snowsuit. The color looked wonderful on her. "You look beautiful Robin!," I signed to her after I set Wolfe inside the foraging basket I had brought with me. "So do you Bunny Bee. Although I worry how warm you'll be."

Robin gives me a playfully concerned look. I looked down at what I was wearing. When I was getting ready it seemed sufficiently warm. I was wearing some fur lined burgundy leggings, some cream colored knee high snow boots, a burgundy argyle sweater dress that had become far too short to wear as just a dress anymore, and a cream colored fur lined coat with a fabulous hood. I also wore a wool head scarf with some faux fur ear muffs that were definitely made by humans.
