THE 30TH billie eilish

----

"What?" Senna moaned and rolled over in her bed, her pillow squished against her ears. The door flung open though and she heard Regina whisper shouting.

"Quick, we're leaving in five before they wake up. We don't want to be here for round four." Regina told her and shut the door quietly as Senna rushed out of bed. Her and her roommate had been around the two in the morning, and it was not a pleasant experience.

By the time Senna was fully ready, Isa and Regina were waiting for her by the door. They successfully snuck out and drove off to the stadium together. Sure, they'd get there a bit early, but none of them were going to complain about that.

"Wait so you're leaving tonight, yeah?" Regina asked. She was the one singled out in the back seat, with Senna in the driving of course. She just couldn't not, part of her childhood in racing.

"No, actually I'm leaving straight from the game." Senna only now realized that she forgot to tell everyone her change of plans.

"Seriously? When did this happen?!" Isa complained immediately. She slapped the girl next to her, who quickly retracted her arm so she wouldn't be hit. Another perk of being a racer.

"At the bar when Christian told me I'd be racing." Senna said casually, aiming to annoy at this point. Which was very easy with those two.

"What the fuck?! And why did you not think to say anything earlier?" Regina shouted and leaned forward to now have her head in between the seats.

"Oi, stop it or I'll crash!" Senna yelled and steadied the wheel after her initial shock.

"You better not. We've all got places to be, especially you." Isa pointed a finger into her friend's arm. The two kept complaining about how Senna even though it was less than a full day since she found out. It was all fun until Isa said something that quieted them all down.

"Does Denzel know?" She asked and watched Senna freeze. She hadn't thought to tell her father yet, but there was no way it would end well.

Not only had Senna gotten a lot of pressure towards her football career, but her driving career as well. Senna had only ever done one race in formula one, and the pressure got to her. She spun out in the twelfth lap and couldn't recover the race. Finishing in a pathetic P14, which her father had her know about.

He wasn't typically an outright awful father. He preferred to manipulate her over time, but after that race, it was a whole different story. He openly shouted at her in the middle of the paddock, and was about to hit her before some employees pulled him away. Senna had never been more grateful for her team.

"I'm sorry- I shouldn't have said anything." Isa quickly said as she stumbled over her words. The two girls had noticed Senna's grip tighten on the wheel at the memory.

"It's fine. But no, I haven't told him yet. I'll tell him when we get there, he's going to be at the match today." Senna told them. Regina quickly nodded and changed the subject. Senna and Isa couldn't have been more thankful for the keeper at that moment.

They pulled into the small car park outside of the small stadium and hopped out together. Not many people were at the stadium, as it only sat about 3.000. But they had managed to sell it out once again, which was a huge accomplishment.

"Girls! It's great to see you both. Ready for the match now?" Nate asked. He had been the manager since Senna joined three years ago. He was good at his job too. Isa had already run off to shower, as she would do before every match.
