CLOSER TO FINE indigo girls

"Have you seen Senna yet?" Liam asked Arthur who shook his head. It was race day, and even though Checo was back for the race, Senna was still told to show. But so far, nobody had seen her all weekend.

"Charles thinks he saw her after qualifying yesterday, but she just disappeared." Arthur gave the information up easily. The two reserve drivers were concerned about their friend. Oscar and Logan were equally as concerned, but they had a race to compete in.

"What happened? She was so happy after winning." Liam sighed and took a seat next to Arthur outside the Red Bull pits. They agreed to watch the race here in case Senna showed up.

"I don't know! Maybe Max would? They seem close lately." Arthur suggested. The two both had obvious bags under their eyes after not sleeping since Friday. They were practically desperate at this point.

"Max, yeah. But we won't see him for two hours..." Liam sighed as he thought. Him and Arthur sat in silence for a minute before Liam shot up.

"Christian! He has to know, come with me." Liam shouted and grabbed his friend by the wrist. Arthur gladly followed along as they rushed inside Max's side of the garage. With Checo having retired already, they knew that Christian would be in Max's garage.

Arthur and Liam turned a few heads as they hastily ran through the garage. Christian turned to look at his reserve driver and his friend as he looked unamused in their direction.

"Do you know where Senna is?" Arthur asked with haste in his voice. Christian was a bit confused as to why they were so scared. But he didn't know that she didn't have access to her phone anymore, and had accidentally ghosted everyone who had reached out.

"She's out in hospitality getting something to eat." Christian looked at them confused and watched as both boys sighed contentedly.

"Why?" He asked curiously.

"She hasn't said a word to any of us since she got back home, we were afraid something happened." Liam admitted and Christian scoffed.

"Van's fine, trust me. She just hasn't been around Red Bull too much this weekend." Christian chuckled at all of their concern over nothing.

"Thank you." Arthur took Christian's hand and smiled at him. With that, the boys left to find the girl who had been on their minds since Wednesday.

"Why do you think she's ignored everyone?" Liam asked Arthur as they quickly walked to the food hall.

"I don't know, but she better have a good explanation." Arthur shook his head before they spotted her sitting alone in a corner, eating a small salad.

"Senna!" Liam shouted and watched the girl's head turn towards them. The two reserve drivers went and pulled up chairs to her table of one. She sent them a big smile, and it only confused the two more.

"Liam, Arthur! Good to see you both." Senna smiled and scooted over a bit to give them more room. She had on baggy cargo pants and a loose sweater, making her look effortless yet still with some class. Most importantly though, it was loose, something that was important through her since childhood.

"Where the heck have you been?" Arthur asked bluntly and Senna chuckled a bit.

"What do you mean?" She asked and Arthur scoffed.
