11.) chaotic first dress rehersal

it's been a pretty hectic morning, to say the least, to start Buster texts all of us saying that due to some inconvenience, he delayed the rehearsal time until that afternoon. along with that my aunt suggested that we would go to visit my dad today as well and thought it would be a good idea to make some goodies for him and everyone else. some of my mornings consist of running to the grocery store and baking the baked goods. I'm so glad that they were able to finish up in time so that I could at least get in a quick shower. By the time I left the house, I had a good 30 minutes to spare and had to sprint to make It on time. I was about halfway to the theater when Buster texted us again letting us know that there was some big news that he wanted to share once everyone got there. I'm really curious to hear what it is.

you made it to the theater with about a few minutes to spare. once you made it backstage you saw that the rest of the cast had made it here before you did and Buster was just as excited to see you. " ahh yes (y/n) you made it. now listen up tomorrow we will have a full preview of the show and our audience will be none other than Miss Nana Noodlemen" You and the other cast members were extremely shocked. to be seen by one of the most famous singers in town now you really must be dreaming. " nana noodlemen she still alive," Mike said a bit sarcastically with Buster replying " So today we will have a full dress rehearsal and I wanna see you light up the stage." he said enthusiastically. he then stapes away to talk with Miss crawly and Meena while the other cast members got ready behind the stage. " I can't believe it. Nana Noodelmen will be watching us perform it must be a " You were talking to Johnny when you heard the same static noise from the other day.

Johnny Pov.

I was listening to (y/n) talk about performing for nana noodlemen when I heard the walkie-talkie go off. " Johnny....Johnny where are you over." ( y/n) gave me a weird look after hearing my day. " excuse me one moment," I said before moving behind the corner and as far from the stage as possible. " Johnny answers the walkie talkie" I can hear him get even more annoyed with me." yeah yeah yeah dad I'm here, what's wrong." I asked a bit worried he talked about the shipment coming in today but I expected it to come later this evening but what my dad said next made my stomach sink. " not tonight now. meet us on the corner of Enger Street in two minutes." he said. the next thing I knew I was on the road driving the gang to the shipment dock.

you were honestly shocked you looked all over backstage and couldn't find Johnny anywhere, it was like he vanished off the face of the earth. Your hands were pretty much tied at this point so you just have to sit there and wait. While Mike was performing you pondered on what could johnny be going through for him to up and dich an important rehursal like this one. after Mike's performance, you felt that something was a bit off when Ash walked past you. when the music started up you heard Ashe's voice was off and made your way to the stage. The second you saw her you felt your heart sink and she tried to hold herself together and her emotion ate at her. you took one glance at Meena and Rosita and by the look on their faces see that we were all thinking the same thing.

after Meena cut the music you saw that Buster made his words ash asking her questions to see what was wrong. you could tell he didn't think his words carefully as some of her spikes flew out as she rushed her way off stage.  " Ash what's wrong" Rosita said with concern and Ash took a seat nearby. you felt bad that there wasn't much that you could due because of the severity of her crying. you decide you make your way towards her and sit down next while rubbing her back. after a couple of minutes, she did seem to calm down a bit and explained how her ex cheated on her and fingering it out the night before." well it sounds to me that you are way better off without that ... that" gunter cuts in the conversation to what he thought lance was." that total jerk Dinkle splat" you looked at him a bit confused along with rosita but she just rolled with it. "exactly, that super total jerk Dinkle spat" she finished and was called to the stage along with Gunter.

she offered Ash some candy when you hear a metal door open. Johnny came rushing through trying to get Rosita's attention and asking to take her place. from the looks of it, she was willy but then the music started and Gunter was already on stage ready to perform." I'm sorry I have no control" she said as she got on stage "If you want you can take my spot" you said giving him a small smile. " thanks "he said looking down at his watch and sighing. " so what's up you seem to be in some sort of rush. is everything going okay family-wise" you said trying not to sound intrusive.

Both of your attention was pulled away as the music stopped and Rosita got up from the ground. " (y/n) You up next" You hear Buster in the background but before you can say anything Johnny rushes passed you with the piano and starts setting up. "(y/n) and I swapped places I hope it's okay. but before Mr Moon could get a word out he was already singing.
