My eyes shot open as I sat straight up. My mind flooded with a thousand questions per second. Why is he here? Did he know I was here? Does he know who I am? Am I in danger? Why was he so fascinated with me at Diagon Alley? Why me?
However, the biggest question in my mind was: Do I tell my sister? The rational and reasonable answer is yes! This could be life or death; of course, I tell her! But, the other side of me hates the thought of worrying her. She's protected me from so much. She's suffered and gone through things unimaginable just to protect me from that life.
The other question in my mind was: why do all the hot ones have to be dangerous?! This is not "Criminal" by Brittney Spears. I shouldn't be so interested in someone whose only fascination with me is how many different ways he could torture me.
"Y/n... Y/N!"
It's only then that I snap out of it and realize that Pansy has been screaming and shaking me for who knows how long.
"Sorry! I just..." I paused.
"Are you ok?!" my sister pryed, "You shot straight up and went dead silent..."
It was then that I realized what I needed to do; I needed to tell my sister.
"I just had a nightmare," I insisted.
It was also then that I realized that I was going to have to tell her some other time.
"Has anyone ever told you that you have a key for the dramatics?" my sister scoffed with a hint of playfulness in her voice.
"I've heard I'm a natural," I laughed. "Who knows? I could be a wizard sensation for my day-to-day performance."
She went to sleep... She actually bought it?! As a kid, I was never worried about my mom or dad being able to tell if I was lying. It was always my sister who knew. No matter what I did. She just naturally knew. "
---
"Y/n, wake up," my sister grumbled with a yawn. Pansy and I have been called a lot of things. Snide, pretty, dramatic, bitches (depending on who you ask) are just a few that I could name off the top of my head, but nobody has and nobody will ever refer to us as morning people. It's just not in our blood. We would sleep until 1 pm every day if we had the choice."No."
"Not an option."
I wish I could say that I had a better response, but all I did was some sort of scream/groan at her... it wasn't pretty.
---
"Astoria, wait up!" my sister called after the brunette as we walked into the Great Hall as the dynamic trio that we were known as.During our very quick walk to the seats that we have sat in every day for the entire school year, we noticed 3 people occupying those seats already. To be specific: 3 smoking hot, super rich, dangerous, really arrogant, assholes... I wonder who they could be.
"Is there a problem, sweetheart?" The one who was introduced last night as Lorenzo said.
"The issue is that entitled people like you walk around thinking they own the school," Astoria sneered with her nose in her hair.
"And, who do you think you are talking to ME like that?" Lorenzo growled.
"Someone who has a very powerful and influential boyfriend. That's who, " she shot back.
"I can guarantee that your little boyfriend has nothing on us," he spat.
"Come on, Tori. Let's go sit somewhere else." I whispered.
"She's right, Tor. They'll destroy the entire life you've worked so hard to maintain for yourself." Pansy agreed.
Astoria nodded, and I walked her to find someone else to sit while my sister smoothed things over.
"Look, we don't want any trouble. She's just heated up right now. That's all!" Pansy assured.
"What if I want trouble?" I glance over even though I know exactly who said it. His voice is engraved into my head as is his jawline, eyes, height, and everything else about him.
As I snap back into reality, I realize I've been staring at Mattheo while he's talking to my sister, and he definitely realizes it.
After a brief moment of eye contact, he walked out, but not before he not so discreetly whispered in my ear, "I want a lot more than just trouble."
