Chapter 2 ~ Tag

'You looked beautiful tonight.'

What the fuck. Your thoughts were scattered. Who wrote this?

You thought it could've been Taehyung, but he was with you the entire time. Come to think of it, you hadn't asked him why he was in your area.

You pushed it out of your mind and got ready.

You stood inside the massive dome, a vast terrain of land, water and small mountains.

You'd been asked to wear some sort of water suit, so you knew you could be getting into the water at some point. Your shoes had spikes on the bottom, so probably the mountains as well.

"Hello everyone! I'm sure you're all wondering what we are doing today. We like to open up with a game. One that's able to showcase your abilities while still maintaining an air of fun." Wonhoo began, stood in front of you all.

"So we are going to kick things off with..." he paused, leaving everyone's attention on him, "tag."

A smile flooded your face.

"This tag however, has slightly different rules. Once you are tagged, you join the team of people who are it. If you manage to not get tagged before the time is up, you gain a large number of points. If the taggers win, the initial person chosen to be it gains a large number of points. You may use your abilities to your liking, however you must tag someone with your bare hand. No head shots, if someone is unconscious you must report it immediately, thus putting yourself in the open."

An arm was placed around your shoulder. "This is gonna be easy eh?" Taehyung laughed. You giggled and agreed.

"You will be granted one minute to hide. The person we've chosen to be it is..." he trailed off, "Lisa."

You didn't allow your confidence to waver, knowing you'd be able to fight her off if she got close.

Lisa stepped up in front of everyone, a smirk on her lips. She scanned the crowd then made eye contact with you. 'I'm coming for you.' She mouthed, winking at you.

'Try it.' You mouthed back.

"And... go!" Wonhoo finished.

You immediately bolted for the trees, it would be the easiest for you to hide and the hardest for her to maneuver. If she got close all you had to do was throw a few trees to trip her up. Your energy allowed you to be extremely fast. It was exhausting to run while using it, so you held off for now.

You noticed Taehyung, Hoseok and Jungkook behind you, going for a different part of the forest. Yoongi and Namjoon headed for the mountains. Jin obviously went towards the water, Jimin following.

You perched atop a high branch, sending a slow current of energy into the ground below. If anyone stepped there, you'd feel the difference in the current.

You watched from afar as Lisa tagged Mingi, who had telekinesis. Then he tagged Vernon, with super strength. Lisa then went after Felix, who could shapeshift.

One by one her army grew bigger. Eventually there were only 10 of you left. The elementals and Changbin, who had invisibility, and was hidden in the weeds by the water, then Irene, who could fly and was casually soaring above the mountains. But they were both getting tired. And so were you.

You released your energy flow on the ground every time you had an eye on her, but now you needed to conserve your energy for when one of them found you.

You heard rumbling off in the mountains, though it was so dark you couldn't see anything. They must've found Yoongi and Namjoon.

You heard cracking in the trees about 100m away from you and knew it was time to run. You hopped to the ground and began sprinting, not wanting to use your energy until they were closer. Off to your left you saw Taehyung and Jungkook, being chased by a group of about 15. Taehyung was using his vines to grasp at them while Jungkook held his hand to the trees as he ran, setting them ablaze.
