The Visit

Slowly, Felix's friendship with Hyunjin started to go back to normal. They were much more comfortable than before. It was Christmas break, and everyone was joyful and peaceful. It was a bit too perfect though...

Hyunjin wanted to visit his parents, but he didn't want to go alone, so he invited Felix to go with him. The younger gladly accepted the offer. They planned on going Friday evening to maybe stay the night and come back Saturday at lunch time. Felix was really excited to meet his friend's parents, so he packed his bag three days before. He went shopping with Jisung and Seungmin to buy something to Hyunjin's parents. He couldn't find anything, so he decided to bake brownies for them. Hyunjin wasn't supposed to know about the surprise, so he discreetly hid it in a sweater in his bag before leaving. It was raining heavily on the day they were going to Hyunjin's parents'.

"Are you sure you can drive through this?" Felix worriedly asked.

"Yeah, don't worry"

They wanted to wait for the rain to calm down a bit, but it kept on raining a lot. The two students, waiting at the school entrance, didn't bring an umbrella. They weren't expecting rain, but they were too lazy to go back to the dorm.

"At three we run to the car, ok?" Hyunjin gave his hand out to Felix, and the blond held it tightly. "One...two...three! Run!" The older screamed. They two boys ran as fast as they could to the car. Unfortunately, they still got wet. There was too much rain.

"Shit, Lix, you're gonna be sick. You're all wet."

"Bro, you're also wet, how do you know you're not the one who's gonna be sick?" Felix raised his eyebrow, then laughed. Water was dripping from the younger's blond hair, making his hair messy. Raindrops were still on his cheeks, making him look majestic.

"What are you looking at?" Felix asked.

"Nothing" Hyunjin continued to stare at him for a couple seconds, smiled, then looked away to turn the engine on. The blond rolled his eyes and crossed his arms.

There was barely anyone on the roads. Everyone probably stayed home due to the heavy rain. It should take around 45 minutes to get to the Hwang household.

"Alright, we're almost there." Hyunjin said at a red light. "Oh, there's another car here. Usually, there isn't a lot of people here. It's raining so bad today, I wonder what brings them here..." He added, talking to himself. Felix fell asleep quite a while ago.

The light turned green and Hyunjin stepped on the gas. It was kind of strange since that car has been following them for the past 15 minutes. Wanting to know if someone was following them, he turned a few times to see if they were going to keep following him, and it turned out that he was indeed being followed. The rain blurred the stranger's car's windshield, so he couldn't see who it was. Was it someone he knew? Or not? Hyunjin kept on turning on random streets, but the car was still behind him.

"I thought you said we were almost there" Felix woke up.

"Well, we were...Someone is following us. I can't lead them to my parents' house. Hold up, I'm gonna park on the side of the road. If they stop, I wanna talk to whoever that is."

"Are you crazy? You don't even know who it is. What if they carry a weapon or something? What if they're like part of the mafia? Are you in debt? Be honest." Felix bombarded his friend with questions.

"We're not in a movie, Lix." Hyunjin stopped the car on the side, waiting for the other car. He got out of the car and tried to see who the other driver was. The other car was getting closer, but did not slow down. Hyunjin confused, moved away from to car to signal the other driver to stop there, but the car drove even faster. It was coming toward them...
