Maple growled and thrashed as she was carried, staggering she looked at Sola and then down at her paws miserably. She couldn't answer, what would she say?
"As a...! Nikki! Come quickly!" Hail bounds over, hackles rising. Guilt made his chest feel heavy, he would have followed. So stupid. "As a, please wake up." He pleads.
Nikki raced over with several herbs, even she winced. Her snout crinkling as the stench of singed fur. She began applying aloe pulp to the burns.
Namara pads through the pack, mingling and making sure everyone was there. She let out a soft breath and checked on her pups, nuzzling them gently.

Jara growled at Neaki "We can't just do nothing!" The male she had seen came over and she growled more. No...she wasn't about to just sit by again. She wasn't weak! She wasn't just a dog. "I'll do something myself!" she yelled and dashed forward and leaped at Neuro biting his ear and hung on tight scratching at his eyes. "I aid....eev'em lone!" she growled hanging to his ear.
Sola pricked her ears hearing Hail yell for Nikki. Her head swung around to look and saw him standing by her mother. Her heart sunk deeply. 'No...' she thought. She looked back at Maple "Stay here and rest. Don't go anywhere okay" she said firmly. Then she bounded over to her mother quickly saying "What happened Sev?" She nudged her mother.

Coughing harshly she gasped hearing Hail's voice, as well as Sola's. A light smile spread over her muzzle as painfully rolled to her stomach barely seeing shadows of her packmates."Is Maple alright?" She asked her voice hoarse. She sighed wincing as she flexed her paws. "Nikki my paws are burned sweetling Would you mind putting some Aloe on them too?" She asked coughing lightly. It was clear she only knew who was around her due to the scents around her, her eyes still glazed and slightly clouded from the fire.
Sighing she lay back on her side to allow Nikki to do her job.
