Megatronus heaved a heavy sigh as he dropped the datapad on his desk. He leaned back and stared at the ceiling.

"Megatronus."

Megatronus looked to see Orion by the door holding datapads with a soft smile. "Orion." Megatronus greeted with a neutral expression and a hint of boredom.

Orion entered and gathered the finished stacks of datapad on the side of Megatronus's desk. "Everything alright?" Orion asked. Megatronus rolled his optics.

"Do you think this is alright?" Megatronus showed his messy desk. Orion softly chuckled.

"You're doing great, Megatronus." Orion cheered him on. Megatronus groaned.

"I heard that there will be a party." Orion said. Megatronus looked at him with uninterested optics.

"Why don't you take a break from work and unwind?" Orion said.

"Fine." Megatronus sighed.

Orion and Megatronus entered a bar wherein Autobots and Decepticons were dancing, drinking, playing and whatnot. Orion ordered drinks for them and headed to an empty table. There was silence between them both as Orion drank his energon drink.

Megatronus leaned back and stretched his arm on the top of the backrest couch. He took a sip as he stared at Orion. He slightly tilted his helm as he examined Orion. Orion looked up and caught Megatronus staring at him.

"Is everything fine?" Orion spoke. Megatronus simply hummed but never set his optics away from him.

"How about we go for a stroll after this?" Orion suggested. Megatronus just made a small wave and looked away.

Megatronus and Orion walked through the empty street at night. No conversation was exchanged, just the sound of their pedesteps tapping on the metal ground. Megatronus slightly inched his servo near Orion's but then quickly clenched his fist and retracted it back to his side. Megatronus heaved a heavy sigh, capturing the attention of the Clerk.

"We could stop by at the view deck." Orion spoke. Megatronus looked at him and nodded. He wanted to stay longer with Orion.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Orion leaned onto the railings as he stared at the beautiful cityscape. Megatronus stood beside him and looked away. Orion looked at him and was concerned.

"Megatronus." He called out. Megatronus looked at him.

"If there's anything wrong you can talk to me." Orion gave him a soft smile. Megatronus closed his optics not wanting to see that smile.

"Megatronus?" Orion softly placed his servo on Megatronus's shoulder. Megatronus slowly opened his optics to see a concerned Orion.

"I'm here for you, my friend." Orion gave a worried smile. Megatronus slightly clenched his fist but then heaved a sigh.

"Thank you, Orion" Megatronus placed his servo on Orion's shoulder.

Megatronus couldn't focus on his work; his mind was aching. Megatronus stood up and stretched; he looked outside through the high-rise glass from within and walked out from his deck.

"Orion." Megatronus leaned on the door frame. Orion looked up from his work and greeted him.

"How may I help you?" Orion said, settling his datapad down.

"Could we...could we hang out at the view deck?" Megatronus asked hesitantly.

"Alright. " Orion stood up organizing his datapads and followed Megatronus.

Megatronus took a sip of his energon drink and looked at the cityscape. Orion glanced at Megatronus and smiled.

"Anything in mind?" Orion spoke. Megatronus looked at him.

"I'll be heading to Kaon." Megatronus said. Orion tilted his head.

"You know, fix things there, besides you can handle Iacon here." Megatronus said and downed all his energon drink.

"How long will you be out?" Orion looked at the cityscape. Megatronus shrugged.

"Who knows?" Megatronus replied.

Megatronus took a small step forward as he looked at the galaxy. This is it... He's gonna leave...and who knows if he'll ever come back to finally embrace the tenderness of his lo- ...friend.

"Till we meet again, Megatronus." Orion approached beside him and stared at the galaxy.

'I doubt that.' Megatronus said in his mind.

Megatronus turned to look at Orion who was smiling at him. Megatronus slowly held out his servo to gently place his servo on Orion's cheek but then he retracted his servo back to rub the back of his neck.

"Take care Orion." Megatronus simply said. Orion nodded with a smile.

"Take care as well Megatronus, my friend." Orion patted his shoulder. Megatronus gave a slight nod and turned his back on him.

Megatronus took a deep breath and let it all out; he then transformed and soared high to the sky, never looking back to where his friend was watching him go.

Orion could no longer see Megatronus in the sky; he turned around and entered the building heading straight to his office to resume work.

Upon arriving in his office he saw a note lying on his desk. Orion picked it up to read it.

"Every ending has a new beginning, my friend."

Orion smiled and placed it on his small bulletin board. Little did he know there was another note behind it.

"I love you, Orion."
