Namjoon was a horrible cook. That was for sure. It didn't matter whether he followed the instructions of a recipe or he just did what he felt was right. Namjoon wasn't making it anywhere in the culinary world and that wasn't a problem because it wasn't like Namjoon was trying to become a world renowned chef or anything, he was just trying to impress his stupid, annoying hot crush Kim Seokjin.
He had been crushing on his elder friend, Seokjin for as long as she could remember now. And though he and Namjoon were friends Namjoon wanted more. Even though he knew he had zero chances, nor because he wasn't good looking or anything. He was quite the eye candy himself.
The problem here was Seokjin's crazy taste in men. Namjoon had done everything to fit into the type of man Seokjin would want but there was just one thing holding him back. His cooking skills.
Seokjin wanted someone who was good in the kitchen much like himself so they could bind over food and cook together, because to Seokjin – for absurd reasons unknown to Namjoon – cooking and eating with a partner was the ideal date.
But Namjoon didn't fucking care. Seokjin was fucking hot, and nice and pretty and he'd rail Namjoon like it was his job and he desperately needed a promotion.
He wanted Jin like his life depended on it and he was going to get him, even if it meant facing his worst enemy head on.
A stove.
