Namjoon had initially thought of just going to cooking classes when he decided he wanted to learn how to cook , but after much persuasion from Yoongi, his best friend, he decided against it. He couldn't afford to burn down someone's culinary school.
So he decided on calling someone to teach him at home. And for some reason unknown to Namjoon, Yoongi had offered to help him get someone who would teach him.
Namjoon didn't care much, he trusted Yoongi and knew that Yoongi wouldn't do anything that'll cost he and Seokjin's relationship. So he sat back and watched Yoongi set up a meeting with he and his new teacher...? He didn't know whether to refer to the man as a teacher or his cooking instructor.
That didn't matter though, all that mattered was whether this person had the ability to make Seokjin fall for him after teaching him one dish.
Maybe that was too high of an expectation from anyone, even maybe for Gordon Ramsay, but he NEEDED this.
He needed to get Seokjin by all costs, and for how much money he was hearing Yoongi call, he hoped it was worth it.

You could say Namjoon was a little shocked when he saw the man that claimed to be his cooking instructor. It's not like chefs had unique faces or auras, but this man looked more like a hot gym instructor than anything else.
Being the tall lanky beauty big brained nerd he was, Namjoon was a little nervous to let the man into his home, but then again, he trusted Yoongi to not fuck him up, so he buzzed him in.
As soon as Jungkook stepped into his house, and laid his big Bambi eyes on its owner, his eyes widened comically. For a second the two just stared at each other, lost in each others eyes-
"Hm hm!" Yoongi clears his throat, rolling his eyes at their little encounter. "Hey Kookie" He huffs as he sits up straight, making himself known.
As much as Namjoon loved his best friend, and loved having him around, at times he really did wish the man stayed at his own place more.
Yoongi makes a come hither motion towards the new face, and timidly as he bows to Namjoon, he makes his way towards Yoongi who goes back to lying sprawled out on Namjoon's couch.
With a sigh, Namjoon follows behind the younger male towards Yoongi, who had now begun to stand up.
"Well Jungkook, I'm glad you could make it in such short notice, this is Namjoon" Yoongi points to his best friend, who in turn gives Jungkook a small dimpled smile, and outreaches his arm for a handshake. Jungkook takes it, and bows stiffly, a little shy, "I'm Jungkook, its nice to meet you".
"Ok, moving on, you guys should get to know each other. Namjoon is a big boy, he'll be able to explain all you need to know. I'm leaving" Yoongi says, all whilst picking his things up from Namjoon's couch. He waves Namjoon goodbye, and the other just sighs, Yoongi was an odd character, well, not odder than Taehyung, but he was still pretty odd.
He slowly makes his way out the house, and leaves both Namjoon and Jungkook standing in Namjoon's averagely clean living room.
"Okay, please take a seat" Namjoon says, motioning to the chair Yoongi had previously been on. Nodding softly, Jungkook sits, his big brown eyes staring up at the tall man as he walked around his coffee table to take a seat on one the one sitters he had in the room.
From the younger's demeanor, Namjoon could already tell he was the shy type, which didn't really make sense seeing as he looked like someone who could easily lift Namjoon...with the couch he sat on.
Though looks weren't anything, Jungkook didn't seem all that outspoken. Which was kind of nice cause Namjoon didn't really deal well with loud people, which was why he couldn't really talk to Jin without stuttering or making a fool of himself.
"I heard you're a good cook?"
Oh my god Namjoon that was a dumb thing to say, brain work!
Confused Jungkook raises a brow, but doesn't really say much about the odd question. "Yes, that's why I'm here to teach you all that I know. I'm a food blogger and YouTuber, so I can say that after learning with me, you'd be pretty good in the kitchen" He says as if he'd been reciting it in his head over and over again, and Namjoon smiles at that.
This means he was serious and wasn't just here to mess around. But he could see it tho, this man had gone into teaching node when he pulled out something from the bag he had seated at his feet. Something Namjoon was only just taking notice of now.
Jungkook pulls out a black apron, his name had been embroidered into the left breast area. He folds it up and places it beside him.
"We'll have to think about a schedule. You said you wanted to start right away so our first lesson would be held today. I don't know if Yoongi hyung told you, but I will be taken my payments after each lesson" Jungkook says, brushing down his apron, to which Namjoon nods, he'd been there trough out Jungkook's call with Yoongi several days ago, so he knew what was going on.
"Okay, that's no problem. If possible, I'd like to have the classes three days out of the week" Namjoon says, hoping the man's schedule wasn't too busy for him, and Jungkook nods. "That's fine"
"Oh yes, and you will he required to produce the ingredients we'll need to cook." Again, another curt nod. "So, if that's done. Let's get to cooking"
