episode 13

Joshua POV:-
I sang the song thinking of Mingyu and I knew that he was behind me. I was on my verge of tears while I was singing the song and playing the guitar. I got up after I told soonyoung that I was going to keep my guitar upstairs and come back.

I was going near the stairs and suddenly Mingyu pulled me into a warm embrace and I could feel his tears on my shirt and he was still sobbing on my shoulder, once again. I let him cry and ruffled his hair while telling him that it's gonna be fine on repeat like a broken radio.

Soonyoung noticed it and came near me to ask what was going on and I explained to him what happened and eventually his eyes softened and he also started caressing his back and comforting him.

I was more sad to see my fiancé like this cause we have only 2 weeks to our marriage and from then on we will be officially married and be a couple.

I always wanted to marry the love of my life,the one, who will be the one at my best and my worst,who I loved with my whole heart,till the moon and back. Every dream of mine shattered into pieces when my parents told me about the marriage.

I had to stay with him for my whole life so I had to at least be good friends with him , even if we don't love each other. I love  someone very dearly and that someone is, Wen Junhui.

I fell in love with him at first sight and I don't know if I moved on or not, cause all I can think about is him whenever I see soonyoung. They both are quite similar in their personality. That's the only reason I have always been clingy towards him and kiss him on his forehead,nose and cheeks.

Flashback:-
I was walking through the corridor and spotted jun and minghao walking together while looking at each other so lovingly which made me annoyed so I just went directly to the backyard . As I was going there , I saw my cousin as she was going home . " Yaa eunchae,come here."  She turned back as she heard my voice.

" What happened? "  She asked me as she was approaching me. I removed my  jacket and swinged it across her and covered her shoulders as it was cold and I was already wearing a thick sweater. She was wearing a strapless top and ripped jeans.

She was shivering with the cold when I saw her, so I gave her my jacket. " Thanks bro~" she said and hugged me before pinching my cheeks, " eunchae-ah be careful when you go home, if anything happens call me, okay?" I said it and she nodded and I also pinched her nose and bid her a bye and went to the backyard.

I was in the backyard, eyes closed and enjoying the wind and the sounds near me.
I was minding my business, so I opened my eyes and for my luck I saw jun coming towards me, all smiling. I also smiled back at him to not be rude. We both were actually good friends, as I eventually developed feelings for him,things became awkward between us.

He sat down beside me,"you know, minghao gave me a bouquet of roses. I was so happy when he gave it to me." He was saying that to me while smiling like crazy and I also looked at him and smiled like crazy which he didn't notice.

We talked for some time and went home after a good 20 minutes of talk and the day went on like that, thinking about jun.

The next day came, I got some courage and I was going to propose to him today as it's the last day of us together in this school. I went to my school with a lot of confidence and as soon as I entered the main hall, he was standing right in front of me and I was walking towards him and I stopped on my tracks when I saw minghao getting on one knee and proposing to jun and blame my ill-fate, jun said yes to him.

I ran to the backyard and tears started to fall from my eyes, I was standing in the middle of the yard and someone came to me and gave me tissue paper and a bottle of water while smiling like a baby.

He gave it and went back as if nothing happened. I was quite surprised by his actions but I was really grateful to him.

Present:-
We all were eating right now as it was already late so after we finished eating, I kept all the plates in the dishwasher and went to clean the table. I cleaned the table and went to my room and saw that soonie and Mingyu were talking with each other so I went in and took my shorts and a long knee length shirt from the closet and went to take a bath.

I came after taking a bath and they were still talking with each other so as they heard the bathroom door close they both looked at me and were shocked cause the shorts were only till my mid-thigh so they weren't visible due to the oversized shirt, so they thought that I was wearing nothing underneath.

I understood them and assured them by pulling my shirt upwards and showing them my shorts. They were taken aback by my actions. I just shrugged it off and started to do my skincare. Mingyu went to his room while I was doing my skincare and after I was finished with my skincare, I turned back and saw that soonie was sound asleep.

So I decided that I wouldn't disturb him and turned the lights off and went to check on Mingyu cause who knows if he would be crying or not. I went to his room on the second floor and slowly opened the door and saw that he was still up, thinking about something, so I went near him and slowly put him to sleep. After he slept,I got up and he held my hand and slowly whispered,  'don't go ..'

I was standing still but he pulled me towards him causing me to stumble and fall on top of him and he hugged me tighter so even if I tried to get out of his grip, I would get tired again so I just gave up and drifted to sleep.

The flashback was really unexpected as I just thought of it while writing this chapter.
