The day is gone just as quick as it came.
But you couldn't tell with the way that everyone was up. Waiting for the three couples to get back.
"Then we're gonna add dragon fruit." Koa passed the bag to Lira and she poured it in the blender.
"I'll pass. I don't fuck with dragon fruit." Jalen said getting out his seat and Koa looked at him crazily.
"You allergic?" Lira asked, not even turning around to face him.
"No."
"Then sit your ass down." She said with a blunt and firm tone and he raised his eyebrows. He looks down at Koa and she raised her eyebrows amused. "You heard the woman, sit your ass down."
He sucked his teeth and sat back down, drumming his fingers against the counter impatiently.
"Drumming won't make me move any faster." Lira comments dropping the bits of mango in the blender as well.
"So what you want me do?" He asked, his chin resting in his hand, unenthusiastically.
"Sit there and be patient?" She stated as if it was a question. "You can sit there and look handsome too, you're good at it. Try to be quiet as well." She said popping a strawberry in her mouth before adding the rest.
"Damn." Ben said sitting down beside him. "You gon' let her talk to you like that?"
"Me personally." Ant sings joining in and Jalen's jaw clenches.
"Just finish this dumb ass smoothie so I can go about my business." He waves her off.
"What business you gotta tend to? Last time I checked, you were a football coach and I don't know if you noticed, but ain't nobody playing football right now." She said putting the cup on top of the blender.
"I-"
He's cut off by the sound of the blender turning on. She turns around finally facing him, crossing her arms smugly.
His eyes subconsciously trail down her body, humming at her perfect physique. She's wearing a pair of blue boxers by SKIMS with a white wife beater with a small cut in the middle to give the perfect illusion of a v neck.
Her hair is atop her head in a messy bun while she sports her reading glasses, making her look just that much more beautiful.
But he'd never admit it.
She points to her ear as he continues to try and speak and he glares at her. She smirks before turning the blender off.
"I'm sorry, did you say something?"
He shuts his mouth, making Ben and Ant burst out laughing. "You're not gonna win this one." Ant said shaking his head.
Koa pats his shoulder with a giggle before grabbing the cups out the cupboard, washing them out before handing them to Lira.
