Ik I'm supposed to be publishing two more tomorrow but I couldn't wait. So here's one more extra page/chapter for y'all :)

Valeria's POV

"Keep your fucking son away from mine. If he messes with Alex again, I will not stop Alex from beating the living shit out of him," I say to her.

"You're overreacting, Valeria. Kids will be kids," My older sister said nonchalantly.

Yeah, and killing you would be killing you.

"Whatever, Melissa. Don't let me see your son push mine again, or I promise you it will not be pretty," I said, walking away.

"What happened?" Asked Gio, following behind me.

"None of your fucking business. Let's go now," I said with sass in my voice.

"Don't get smart with me because of what she did, Val. I didn't do anything to you," Gio said, walking to the car and holding Alex's hand.

It's gonna be a long drive.

It's been 30 minutes since we've been home. Alex passed out in his PJ Mask themed room. Gio and I are currently in my bedroom.

"Are you ready to talk to me like an adult?" Gio asked, looking at me.

Alex held his hand out, which made me gladly put my hand in his. I walked him over to the bed. Taking his slippers off, he climbed into bed, crawling into Gio's arms. I got in next and pulled the big blanket over us. Thinking about how much I missed this, I fell asleep.

The next day

"Grandma!" Alex screamed as he entered my mother's home.

"I missed you so much, Alexandro," my mom spoke to my son.

"Alright, I'm gonna get out of here now. Bye, Alex," I said, waving at him.

I closed the door and went back to the car. I texted Kaitlyn and told her I was on the way to her apartment. Even though I know she won't be out on time, I still wanted to get her a heads-up.

While waiting on Kaitlyn, I decided to call Avery to see if she was interested in going to the movies with us. On the second ring, she answered.

"Do you want to come to the movies with me and Kaitlyn?" I asked before she spoke.

"Damn, Val. What happened to 'Hello' or 'How's your day going?'" Avery said with a laugh.

"Sorry; Hello, how's your day going?" I said mockingly.

"It's going go-" I cut her off. "That's great! Do you want to go to the movies with us or not?" I asked.

"Sure, why not?" Avery said.

"Good! Be ready in about 15 minutes, and wear something presentable, please," I said, hanging up.

Kaitlyn opened the passenger door and looked at me funny. I tilted my head to the side, and she did the same.

"What's your problem, ma'am?" I asked, turning on the car.

"You and Gio fucked, didn't you?" She asked with a beaming smile.

"Why does it matter? Besides, it was just a one-time thing," I said, shrugging.

"Yeah, this is the nth time I have heard you say, 'It was a one-time thing.' I mean seriously, Val, I don't want you getting hurt again," Kaitlyn said, making me roll my eyes.

"I know that, Kaitlyn. I'm not going to fall for it. I know my worth, and I'm worth more than some cheating bitch," I said, knowing it was all a lie.

"If you know your worth, stop sleeping with her." Kaitlyn's face turned slightly pink, indicating that she was getting upset.

Giovanni Romano has a spell on me. The more I see her, the more I fall for her. The more I feel her, the more my heart hurts. I don't know what she's doing to me, but if I'm being honest, I kind of like it.
