One day we were all playing at the park until we heard loud crashes and noises sort of like thunder but very very loud bad thunder.. We thought it was normal and maybe it was someone shooting fireworks. But we didn't know what was currently happening, until Frankie's mom and Miss periwinkle pulled us aside and took us to an old shed next to the Johnsons house. BOOM! BOOM! We got really scared I didn't know what was happening. Until I over herd Frankie's mom say "there here for us again." And I knew right away.. the Germans, I was scared even though I wasn't a Jew but I knew I've been keeping Adam, Joey, and Mia in our house and they are Jewish after all.
BOOM!!! BOOM!!!!! scary isn't it. clack clack we hear someone coming. The door opens and they spot us. WHOOSH, WE ALL RUN OUT AND PASS BEHIND THE NAZIS.. Mark Frankie and Mia run off and separate from me Adam and Joey Leaving Miss Smith and Mrs periwinkle behind.
ANNIE THEY ARE GETTING CLOSER said Adam. We ran we hid but still they couldn't catch up to us. At this point I was thinking if they even train? Ann hurry you're getting slower each step. I know Joey I can't control it I'm tired.. LOOK OVER THERE said Adam ITS FRANKIE MARK AND MIA. We were in luck.. but not for long
