Travis' POV

Me and Taylor are on our way to Jason and Kiley's to see the girls and give them their Christmas presents. Taylor is so excited to give them their presents because this is her first Christmas with all of us. It is snowing outside so me and Taylor planned a secret snowball fight on them. We just put everything in the car and we are now on our way.

"I'm so excited!" Taylor exclaims as I drive off and put my hand on her knee.

We have been driving for about 15 minutes and then I see a car swerving on the ice. They are moving towards us and there is nothing I can do to avoid it. Before I know it the car rams in the passenger side where Taylor is and she screams. Our car is sliding and spinning all over the road. Everything is a blur. I feel like I'm in a blur. This can't be real, can it? I'm stepping on the breaks as hard as I can but it is not working. We continue sliding until we end up in a ditch on the side of the road and we finally stop moving. What is happening? Is Taylor okay? All I can hear is ringing and muffled sirens. I need to check on Taylor. I look over and there is blood all down her head, arm, and other places but I don't know where. Did I lose her? I can't lose her I need her. I unbuckle my seatbelt and carefully open the door. I have no clue on what is happening. Everything is spinning. I hear the sirens getting closer but nothing matters right now I have to get to Taylor. I struggle to get out and see ambulances pull over to the side and paramedics run over and yell at me to stop moving.

"Sit down! Do not move!" Someone tells me but I don't care. I run over to the passenger side and try to open the door but it is all busted up and will not open. What am I supposed to do Taylor is in there and not moving or making a sound.

"You need to get inside of the ambulance" one of the paramedics tells me but I don't move.

"I have to get to my girlfriend!" I yell at them and keep struggling to open the door. It won't budge. I keep trying until I get pushed out of the way. I hear people yell some more things but I can't understand. Everything is ringing and blurry. I hear something about a stretcher but can't make out the rest. Is she okay? This is all my fault. Maybe if she had been driving it would've been different. Or if I took just a little longer to get in the car. My mind is racing with thoughts but then I can't control myself, my legs shake and my feet come out from under me. I fall to the ground and everything goes black.

No ones POV

Travis falls down and hits his head really hard on the ground. Two paramedics rush over from the other ambulance and put him on a stretcher. They lift him up and place him into the ambulance.

"Take him and we will get her!" One of the paramedics yell from the car.

They shut the doors and hook him up to some machines. They put an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose. Then drive away to the hospital.

Taylor still is not out of the car. The doors are jammed and cannot open normally. They smash the window being very cautious to not harm Taylor. The window breaks and they reach through the window and carefully lift Taylor up and pull her through the window. It takes a few minutes to get her out but once she is out they place her on a stretcher and run to the ambulance. They quickly shut the doors and drive off. While they are driving they check her pulse, her blood pressure, and much more.

"Quick! Shes crashing!" A paramedic yells and begins CPR.

"Okay we are good!" The same paramedic yells back and they drive as fast as they can. They arrive at the hospital around 10 minutes later.

Travis' POV

My eyes flicker a few times before they open fully. I am in a hospital bed in a hospital gown. My parents are sitting in the chairs across from me on their phones. The last thing I remember is watching some people try to take Taylor out of the car. Where is she?
