Serena's Point of View.

I looked around, cheering faces all around me inside of the Palais Mermonia.
I was walking towards the main hall where Neuvillette was standing. Next to him a beautiful crown.

The moment became extorted and I found myself in front of him.
'Are these my memories?' I thought to myself. This must be when I was announced Princess of Fontaine 300 years ago judging from everything.

The lights, the decorations, the people... Even Furina and Neuvillette were here and the entirety of Fontaine was awaiting the coronation of their Princess.

ai bowed in front of Neuvillette. My head lowered and my eyes closed.

"Serena, 'Ciellereina'" Neuvillette said as he picked up the crown. "Infamous for all her work for Fontaine, I, Iudex Neuvillette, hereby declare you..."

A moment of silence, filled the air. I took a deep breath and felt a metal ring be put onto by head.

"La Princesse de Fontaine."

I stood up and bowed to Neuvillette before I faced the crowd. My face was rather cold and indifferent at that moment. The cheering of people was heard all over Palais Mermonia. It was indeed the day of my coronation. The day where I signed myself up to become the perfect Princess that this nation had.

Suddenly everyone froze.

All the cheering and loud applause stopped. A cold wind hit and some of the lights flickered due to it. There was only one applause heard. One which was also followed by the rattle of chains.

I looked at the entrance and my eyes greeted an old face. A harpy.

My mother.

"My, my..." She said as she started to walk forward. "This was such an outstanding assemblage, Princess Serena."

She stopped walking and looked directly into my eyes. Her eyes seemed to have shot piercing daggers within me.

"Royalty," She said and started to look around. "Nobility, gentry." She mocked me.

"What are you even doing here?" I asked her and crossed my arms, how is it even possible for her to be here?

"I must say, I felt quite distressed to not receiving an invitation." Her tone was mocking. The way her shackles rattled around her wrists and her bird like ankles. It filled the entire hall.

"You were cursed for a reason, mother." I said to her, "And you're also not welcomed here." I said to her.

She laughed menacingly. "Oh dear... This is such an awkward situation now." She said and looked at the crowd who seemed frozen in time.

"You're not offended?" I ask.

"Why no."  She said and turned to me, "To show that I bear no ill-will, I have come with Information."
