when the triplets, ruben, and adora are sat in matt's vehicle outside of the doe's residence awaiting nate's arrival to leave for school, chris is not expecting for destiny to make an appearance as well, seeing as she's been catching rides with jordan for practically as long as they've been seeing each other.
he feels his eyebrows subconsciously raise higher on his forehead at the sight of destiny following behind nate after closing their front door behind them. he can easily pick up on the fact that she's not wearing any makeup, because her cheeks look more naturally rosy underneath the sun, and her hair is tied up into a bun rather than its usual place behind her shoulders. she's wearing an oversized t-shirt that he knows she got from a harry styles concert freshman year, because he was one of the firsts to hear all about it, and it's paired with shorts, socks, and nike airforces.
