The next day school was okay until I t was time for the dance I wore the dress I was gonna wear

I felt good and pretty
As my mom looked at me through the window

"You look stunning" she says as I turned my head "thank you mom" I said

"Now let's go before your late" as I went down stairs
And saw leo

"Leo what are you doing here" I said in shock as I went to hug him

"I thought you can come with me" he says I turned to my mom cause she had to be apart of the idea

"I thought it was sweet" mom says she smiles

"Let's go" he says "let's go then" I say as I smiled

I wonder for a split second if malachi would've done the same

As we drive off to the school I felt a little nervous until leo hold my hand

"Just trust me you'll be fine" he says as if he read me strangly I nodded and shaked it off

We headed into the party it was packed with people

As I tried looking for Ari as leo was beside me and then I noticed her she was wearing a green dark dress she looked bomb

"ARI YOU LOOK GOOD DAYUM" I said pretending I was checking her out

"GIRL YOUR SO FINE" she says back

"AWW YOU AND LEO LOOK SO GOOD" sounding she like fan girling

As I pretend I'm blushing we both started giggling
"LETS ALL DANCE" ari says as she guides me and her partner to the dance floor as leo holds my hand

As we danced to many songs my fav beauty and the beats as I danced with ari I went to dance with leo surprised leo knew how to dance

As we danced we started goofing off and laughing till it switched to a slow dance the announcer says I looked at leo

"You don't have to if you don't want to" I looked at him

"I want to leo" I said as suddenly they play moon river by frank ocean

He wraps his hands gently around my waist as I wrap my arms aorund his neck as we then slow dance

As we slowed dance we just looked into eachothers eyes it's crazy to think we been both hurt by the people we thought loved us

"Malachi mest up big time" he says
As laugh it off a little it stinged a little

"I know it hurts" I sighed as we then kept slow dancing I saw malachi slow dancing with a girl as moon river part came on I don't know why but I burst into tears

"Oh fuck" I said as I realized I'm crying I wnet looking "y/n you okay" he says lifting my chin up and saw my tears going

"Y/n" he says concerned he knew

I started shaking my head "I'm sorry I need to take a breather" I said walking away

As y/n started waking away quickly away from the dance floor to a close empty space in the halls

She went against the wall she starts to burst into more tears as she puts her hand against her chest

"Fuck why does it hurt" I said as i wipe my tears but it wouldn't go

I continue to cry until I heard someone go to the halls it was malachi he stand there still looking concerned I turned to look at him as I cried more quite I can tell and feel I looked like a mess

As some other door open seconds later it leo and ari

"Y/n are you okay" as she comes to hug me in comfort as y/n couldn't stop looking

Leo noticed him seconds after and felt a sense of anger towards him

"Come on y/n I'll take you home" he says as both them went beside me and hold y/n away but that made the contact dissappear

Malachi in his mind knew it did affect her more then she thought it would but he couldn't help to say anything cause of what he thought would make it worse

I guess at the end of it they didn't struck a connection It kightve just been wrong timing overall

It was the right person wrong time.
