I woke did my routine and went downstairs for breakfast till I saw my parents at the door talking to someone I was a bit confused
"Who are you guys talking to," I said to them they turned around my eyes then widened it was nai I ran giving her a big hug almost making her fall Owen started barking all of sudden seeing her happy he was
"Oh my gosh you came," I said happily realizing the hug
"Yeah I did," she said laughing with joy
"Wait why are you here though actually," I said confused
"Well sweetie we were gonna go to a beach house and wanted to invite your sister at least just for 2 days but the Barron's will come so that will be fun," mom said excitedly
"Oh wow that's great" I smiled
"Okay I'm kinda starving now," my dad says making a funny face like his in pain we all just laughed and went to eat some pancakes mom made
After we were done me and nai went to my room to chill for a bit As she lay in my bed and I flopped on it sighing after
"So how's everything,," she said
"Good what about you," I said
"Well good college is a bit tricky but I manage...so how's your best friend Malachi doing," she said tickling me
"Well I mean confusing since I came back but now I just realize more things twiceeeeee before, I said looking at my ceiling
"Like what," she said curiously
"well this weird feeling in my stomach when I'm around him sometimes when we're getting close I just dodge it then catch you know but I guess I don't know what it means" I confess
"You want me to tell you the truth," she said I nodded "you like him," she said
"No that can't be," I said feeling uneasy about that
"It's a true girl I've been through it and you know that" she giggles
"I know but I never thought-" as I got interrupted "it was gonna be Malachi," she said looking at me like she knew I was gonna say that
"Yeah" I sighed
"Do you want to date him?" she said
"Well I don't know yet I never thought about it," I said thinking afterward
"Well then there is gonna be a lot to think about now," she said laughing
As I headed a knock my room it was Mom
"Hey get ready since we're gonna head there" she said then closing the door
"Welp I'll be going downstairs while you get dressed" she said getting up as I did to as she went out of my room
"Now what to wear since my mom earlier said to look nice since we're doing a little cookout" I said to myself
