Ah'kaedh injuries sure made his older brother concerned beyond the physical aspect, Lar'jar had some reapproaching words for his sibling regarding his recklessness.
The Medic knew the Girl's convalescence was the primary cause behind Ah'kaedh's impulsivity (and Lar'jar was not even surprised. That little ooman was like poison to his brother's common sense).
Lar'jar could only hope that, once her mind became fully present, his younger sibling would finally regain full domain over his impulses (yeah, it was quite fun to watch Ah'kaedh, but that could go on forever). Meanwhile... All he could do was make sure the object of Ah'kaedh's affections would make a full recovery.
Upon starting the process of waning her off her sedation, Lar'jar cautioned the Enforcer about the possibility of her pain coming back, and of course, the Medic was right on point.
Once the dosage was below 65%, her healing pains reared their ugly head.
Lance had been shot in her chest and gut, and while the gut wounds were way more serious, only people who experienced broken ribs knew how painful those could be.
The two shots to her left missed the heart, but shattered 4 ribs - hence the collapsed lung, which also made her extra tired.
There should be some discomfort related to her mutations, but Lar'jar could not be sure (truth to be told, he was not even sure of how the Yautja's blood treatment would actually do, besides improving healing). He would need to go back to Yautja Prime and consult the archives there - but for now, the Medic was doing everything in his power to keep her well assisted. Frequent exams and tests, he paid a lot of attention to her health, kept her medicated, dutifully recording the whole process, and doing some research on oomans' biology.
Ah'kaedh didn't make any of it simple - but Lar'jar was quite good about dealing with his lovesick sibling.
However, one thing he could not convince the Enforcer was to sleep apart from his Lunatic.
Lar'jar would step inside his sibling's room and find both sleeping - Ah'kaedh curled up around her, partially covering his tiny critter. His weight was only partially over her, but that couldn't be healthy for her fractured rib cage.
On Ah'kaedh's defense, a drugged Lance actually enjoyed being embraced like that - tightly held, the extra weight had a calming effect on her (she would whine a complaint whenever he moved away).
But the Enforcer was aware this interlude couldn't last forever. Not when he had his duties to carry on (and a Young-Blood still lost, somewhere out there).

Lar'jar cautioned his brother about another drop on her sedation. The Enforcer was expecting she would blindside him somehow... but today? Today she scared him shitless.
After leaving for the commanding bridge - to sync with the other Enforcers tasked to help him, (they were still underway to their location) Ah'kaedh returned to an empty room.
No, Lar'jar would have said something... oh shit!
He went looking frantic around the room, beside the bed, and upon getting to the bathroom, he found her sitting under the running water, forehead pressed against her knees, embracing her legs.
He could not tell if she was in pain or not. Her whimpers could be due to her drugged state or weakness... or well, pain.
Ah'kaedh knelled, sweeping her in his arms, pressing her to his chest. The Girl was lowkey used to the nakedness (the yautjas kept almost all oomans free of clothes, like themselves), but upon feeling the cold prosthetic connecting with her body, she hissed a complaint.
