Giovanni's POV

The next day

"Slow down!" I yelled out to my children.

After I woke up from my nap, I went to get Alex as well as Evan. Let's just say that Val's parents were not happy to see me there.

They are currently playing tag. I noticed that Alex's shoes came untied and before I could tell him to come here, he fell face first.

I ran over to Alex and saw his nose bleeding. He wasn't crying until I reached to wipe off some blood that was close to going into his mouth.

"I'll call you back, Claire. Got a mess to take care of. Make sure you get Melissa good." I hung up, giving my full attention to my son.

"Daddy, my nose fell off!" Alex said, crying harder.

He is so dramatic.

"Oh my gosh, Alex! Look at it on the ground!" I laughed but stop laughing when I saw the look he gave me.

Meanie.

"Your nose didn't fall off. Let's go clean your nose," I said, grabbing Evan's hand.

I put Alex on the counter and ran some water on a paper towel. I held it under his nose while holding the back of his head with my other hand.

"Lean your head up to the sky, buddy," I said, holding his back.

Alex leaned his head back, making wide eyes at me. Looking into his big, brown eyes, I thought out Val. Every time she got excited, her eyes got as wide as his.

"Blow," I told Alex, and he did as I said.

The remaining blood came out. I let Alex get off the counter, and he ran to tag Evan.

This kid will never learn.

I heard my phone ringing. I saw Regina's name pop up. I answered, hoping she was about to be here to get Evan.

"Hey, how are you today?" Regina asked.

"I'm doing fine; What do you want?" I asked, knowing she wants something.

"I was wondering if you could maybe keep Evan for the night. Something came up, and I just want to be with family. I'll come to get her in the morning," Regina told me with hope.

"No, I cannot. Take her with you, Regina. I mean, let them meet her. You've never let any of your family members know that you have a child," I said, turning down her offer.

"I guess I'll be there in 30 minutes," Regina said in a quiet voice.

I hung up and went to check on the kids. Seeing that they were watching Spy Kids, I decided to leave them. I went back into the kitchen to make them dinner. I, on the other hand, was not hungry for food.

I am starving for a taste of Valeria Ramirez.

The creaking sound of the front door opening startled me. I looked up and saw Val. I put the chicken nuggets in the oven and went over to her.

"Thank you for cleaning the house. And I'm sorry for starting an argument with you. I was just stressed out. I know you might not forgive me, but I just wanted to tell you that," Val said, picking up Alex.

"No, it's okay," I said.

It's not okay. It's not an excuse to treat me shitty. I still love you though.

"Alright, we're going to head out. I'll come by tomorrow?" I nodded my head at her.

Val turned around and headed out the front door. I sighed reached to get the nuggets but remembered i didn't have on a mitten. After took the chicken nuggets out of the oven, I threw them away. Going to the couch, I fell back and went to sleep.

Evan can eat later.

Valeria's POV

One week later

Last week was pretty hectic. Gio had to work a lot because of the launch of her new product. I don't know what it is, but all she told me was that it was for her sex shop.

Yep, that's right; a sex shop. Gio opened it a few months after we ended things. For the most part, it's doing well.

I'll have to test out the products.

She also told me the house intruder got taken care of and that I didn't have to worry about them bothering us again. I have no clue what she did but I'm not complaining one bit.

Mep.

"Alex, chocolate or vanilla?" I asked, referring to ice creams.

"Can't we just get both?" Alex asked with his big brown eyes.

"I mean, I guess," I said, putting the two big tubs of ice cream in our shopping basket.

I was looking for ice cream toppings when Alex asked a question that shocked me.

"Mommy, can you and Daddy be together?" Came Alex.

It took me a minute to answer. I didn't know the answer to that question. Can Gio and I be together? I guess we could make it work one day. I mean, don't get me wrong. The sex is amazing, but I'm just not ready to be in another relationship yet. Although was a few years ago, Gio still hasn't gained my trust back.

"Of course we can be together, just not right now," I said, picking through his curly black hair with my fingers.

"But I want you and Daddy to be together now," Alex said in a disappointed tone.

"I know baby, but Daddy and I have things to work on first," I said, sounding strong.

Alex doesn't deserve this.

A few days later

Giovanni's POV

"Keep going, Val," I moaned.

Whoopsie Daisies-

"Get the fuck out of my house. That was so disrespectful, and I will not be your second choice." Regina said, taking me out of her mouth.

"It was an accident, Regina. I didn't mean to say her name," I got up, reaching for her.

She stood by the front door, waiting for me to get out. I walked out without saying another word.

I keep fucking up.

"I need a drink," I say, turning my car on.

"Okay, no more drinks for you, Mister Ma'am," the bartender said.

The fuck does that even mean-

I got up, slamming the glass onto the countertop. I took out my wallet and pulled out some money. I don't know how much I gave her, but it must've been a lot because of the way she looked at me.

She's hot. I can't cheat on Valeria. Sorry hottie.

I walked out and started walking around since I didn't want to drive. I sang "We Are The Champions" and walked a few blocks before I stumbled across a familiar house.

Valeria's house. My love. I really wanna fuck you right now.

I walked up the driveway and turned the doorknob. It didn't open meaning it was locked, so I knocked on it about five times. I gave her 10 seconds to open the door, but she didn't. I continued the song with a whistle and waited for her to come to the door.

I'm impatient as FUCK.

I knocked a few more times, and Val came to the door. Her eyes widen and I could tell she only had on a robe. Her hair was messy, and her bottom lip was swollen.

You need me. I need you. We need each other. We can be champions together.

"Um, w-what are you doing here?" Val said, looking anxious.

"I had a few drinks and started walking. I ended up here. Come here. I miss you," I tried to grab her hand.

Just as she was about to speak again, a voice came from behind her.

"Who's at the do- oh."
