𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐮NAMED after her late grandmother, she had always been considered the problem child, always causing a ruckus and getting into trouble in hopes that someone would notice her.
That someone could see that she was hurting and all she wanted was attention or love, but no one seemed to see past her faults as if everyone had given up on her.
After the passing of her father, Sione, Marley got more ruthless and crazy, turning to drugs and drinking, going out every night, doing anything as a way to temporarily cope with the loss.
She used to be a daddy's girl through and through, his little shadow always following him around, talking his head off with whatever was on her mind. He was her best friend.
He would always make time with her taking her to go on little trips to the grill for ice cream, reading her bedtime stories when she was young, tucking her in at night to always taking her everywhere with him.
He was the parent that went to every parent teacher conference, to every performance when Marley performed, and even when she got older, picking her up from late night hangouts or parties, being the one to pick her up from the sheriffs office when she got herself into trouble.
She loved him, more than anything, but he was gone now.
Now it was only her in an empty home, with her mom constantly throwing herself into work, it felt that at times she might've been doing that to avoid her own daughter or that she resembled him too much that it hurt to look at Marley.
It's as if she forgot about her own daughter who was also suffering the loss of her father.
It didn't help the fact that Marley had traditional tribal tattoos littered across her body, from the shoulder down to her ankles, it was unexplainable though because it made an appearance when she turned fifteen almost two years ago.
Around the same time her father died, but it's not like she had anyone to turn to for an explanation.
Since then, Marley had luscious soft black curls that seemed to turn a light shade of brown in the sun that grew all the way to her bottom, dark green eyes that had a bit of a brown tint in them, and she stood at five feet seven inches.
As she grew ruthless, so did her appearance which made her look even more intimidating but beautiful as time went on.
If her father seen her now, she wondered if he'd be proud of where she was at, with what she's done.
Author's note: Marley definitely has a lot to unpack, but maybe she'll get better as time goes on
