"So, we now have to find where my grandfather hid his secret funds? But what if Eunseong and his mother have already found them? What do we do then?" I ask Hyunwoo, a distressed look on my face. He takes out some pictures and paperwork and places them on the dining table.

"Well, in a way, it's better because we can file a case against them for hiding the money and even stealing. Grandfather never said that money belonged to Mo Seulhee."

I raise an eyebrow, completely surprised by his ideas. Looking at the pictures on the table, which show evidence from the CCTV cameras installed in our house, I say, "These will be enough proof to send Eunseong and his mom to jail. It's time for them to pay for their deeds."

I startle as he gets up from the dining table, ready to leave after our long discussion about plans against Eunseong. My eyes widen and my heart races. Without delay, I ask, "Are you leaving? I mean, it's 2 AM right now," my voice trembling slightly. I try my absolute best not to sound too desperate, forcing a smile to mask my anxiety and hoping he might reconsider staying for the night.

"Uh, yeah, my apartment isn't far from here, so it's fine," he says with an assuring smile. My heart sinks. Why isn't he getting my hint? Why can't he just stay here? Didn't he just kiss me as if he needed that more than air, and now he's just leaving? Like he's just going to walk out the door?

I stare at him, completely baffled, my eyes wide with disbelief and hurt. His casual demeanor feels like a slap in the face, and my chest tightens with frustration. He doesn't understand my hint again, and my annoyance spikes.

"Okay. Then. Leave. I'm sure your apartment is more comfortable than this huge mansion filled with all the luxuries of the world. Right! Sure," I say, my voice dripping with sarcasm as I fold my arms tightly and turn to look out the big window, my jaw clenched and my eyes stinging with unshed tears.

"Haein-ah, actually, I was thinking... I mean... um... would it be okay if I stay the night here?" he asks. I immediately turn my head as fast as lightning, my eyes wide with surprise. His face is lit up with a smile, and he's barely holding back laughter.

Trying to compose myself, I cough and say, "Um, I mean, as you wish. Do what your heart wants. I just take the right side of the bed, okay?" The last part comes out more excited than I anticipated, my voice betraying my flustered state.

"I never said we are sleeping in the room, though," he says, looking genuinely confused. Oh... My cheeks flush with embarrassment. Right! Haein, control yourself. Why do you keep embarrassing yourself in front of this man?! But I can't really blame myself because my heart just wants to be close to him.

"Right! Yeah, right! No, yeah, you're sooo right! Ha ha," I ramble, my words tumbling out in a flustered mess. I look up at him, and he raises an eyebrow, clearly expecting me to explain further.

"I mean, you can take the other room and I'll be in my room... BUT I think you should explain the execution one more time. So let's go upstairs and discuss," I blurt out, my excitement getting the better of me again. Haein-ah, do you know how to control yourself at this point? I scold myself internally, feeling my heart race with a mix of excitement and embarrassment.

The judge, with a stern expression and a resolute voice, announced the verdict in the packed courtroom. "After careful consideration of the evidence presented, it is the judgment of this court that Ms. Mo Seul-hee and Mr. Eunseong are found guilty of fraud, murder, and money laundering. The heinous nature of their crimes, which include the premeditated murder of Mr. Hong and the subsequent laundering of substantial illicit funds, warrants the maximum penalty. Therefore, the court sentences both defendants to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. This verdict reflects the severity of their actions and serves as a reminder that justice will prevail against such egregious violations of the law."
