Aftermath

Izuku groans as he slowly opens his eyes. He is immediately blinded by the florescent lights above him. As his eyes adjust, he sees he's in the nurses office at UA. He wonders for a moment how he got there before his eyes widen, and he sits up, remembering about the USJ attack. He groans in pain as his body is still sore from the battle with Kizaru.

Just then, Jirou walks in with a vase of flowers. She sees Izuku awake and in slight pain and quickly walks over to him. She puts the vase down and gently pushes him back down onto the bed. "Easy there, we don't need you reopening any wounds." Izuku lays back down and looks at Jirou. She doesn't seem to be hurt or anything. She walks to the door and waves for someone to come over.

"Guys, he's awake." After that, Yaoyorozu, Itsuka, and Ashido all rushed inside to see him. They even managed to get stuck in the door in their haste to enter the room. Izuku laughed at the scene as Katsuki pushed them all in, causing them all to fall onto the floor while Katsuki made his way inside, using crutches to support him. They quickly got up and came to Izuku, who was enjoying the show before him. "Missed me that much, huh?" The group all chuckled, slightly embarrassed by their actions.

"How you feeling, Salamander?" Izuku waves his hand in a so-so response. "I'm pretty sore all over, but it could be worse. How about you guys?"

"We're alive, so that counts for something. But we're good, though." Jiro said, gaining a thumbs up from everyone.

Izuku smiles a bit, glad to know his friends are ok. "That's good to hear. All right, Kaachan, status report. What happened after i went unconcious?"

Katsuki stands at attention as he debris what happened at the USJ after Izuku went unconscious. "After you went unconcious, Shigaraki told Kizaru to grab you while she went to get me as well. Before Kizaru could lift you off the ground, Ponytail here swooped in and cut its fingers off."

Izuku looked to Yaoyorozu in surprise. "Really?" She nods sheepishly, not really expecting all the attention. "Thank you. I really appreciate the save. OK Kacchan, continue." Katsuki nods before returning to the story. "She stood in between you and Kizaru for about a few seconds before All Might finally decided to make an entrance. After bringing all of us to safety, she fought Kizaru and was able to come out on top, albeit with a lot of wounds. Shigaraki tried going in for a last-ditch attempt, but the cavalry came just in time, and Snipe shot her a few times, making her back off. After that, Shigaraki left, and the heroes just scooped up the remaining villains. "

Izuku nods, letting the new information sink in. "Got it, and how is All Might? Is she ok?" Katsuki nods. "Much better than we were. The left side of her stomach took the most damage, but other than that, she was sporting some mild cuts and bruises." Izuku looks concerned for All Might, but he was glad it wasn't too serious. "I see. How about everyone else?"

"They are alright, no major injuries. Though understandably shaken up by the whole situation." Izuku nods at this answer. He expected as much from them since they hadn't dealt with actual villains up close. "True can't fault them for not handling this as well as us. They haven't dealt with villains face to face. Especially not as twisted as Shigaraki."

Itsuka raised her hand, getting everyone's attention. "Um, who is Shigaraki? I only got a brief description, but nothing on what she wants with you guys." Izuku motions Jiro to raise him up in the bed. She pushes a button, and the bed inclines to where he is sitting up. "Thank you, Jiro. To answer your question, Kendo, she is a villain that I unfortunately got the attention of. She was actually the first one to discover my identity during the 'mystery male' fiasco."

"But didn't the media figure it out first? You even said before that they nearly raided your house for answers."

"They only did that because Shigaraki leaked it to them. It was surprisingly quick, too. Within the span of a day, she managed to get enough info to completely dox me to the media. After dealing with them, she also came to me personally. She asked me to join her. Obviously, I refused, but she is persistent, as you all were made aware of." Then, when Kacchan unlocked his quirk, she doubled down on recruiting us. Sent some villains our way, I guess, as a test, messing with some of our jobs, you name it."
