STELLA POV
When I entered the school, I wasn't surprised to find someone with a gun cocked and pointed towards my head, my breath already labored and my hands nervously clenching together."Dad." I calmly said, looking at the gun that was pressed against my forehead, his hand still with no fear. His face was cold, lifeless even, as if he felt no emotions at the fact he was pointing a gun towards his daughter.
"You shouldn't be standing here in front of me, Stella. Not when you are what you are right now." He slowly explained, his face forced into a blank look-one I despise greatly. "So I will kill you myself." He growled, cocking the gun as if he was trying to scare me.
"I didn't have a choice, I was in the hospital!" I begged, my eyes suddenly becoming glossy with tears, and I hoped I got through to him with the way his bottom lip quivered slightly. "It's hunter's code!" He screamed, a bit of spit flying in my face, yet I didn't dare wipe it off. "How can you do this to me, to your very own daughter? Isn't aunt Kate enough?" I raised my voice slightly, trying not to let my anger get the best of me.
Before he could pull the trigger, I sped around him with the bullets barely missing me, my feet squeaking against the tile as I ran across the hall quickly, thanks to my new found power. I could feel his anger, it was practically invading my senses as he continued to shoot the machine made up of his own regret.
A bullet went straight into my back, making my cry out in pain as it hurt so bad, I felt as if death was already by my side-it must be Wolfsbane. I stumbled to the ground, black blood already seeping through my shirt that already meant something was wrong. He made another attempt, but it failed as I dashed once more while ignoring the searing pain I was experiencing.
I could hear many footsteps behind me as I pushed a set of doors open that were surprisingly unlocked, before bolting out with a hand grabbing at my back.
SCOTT POV
I shushed the conversation Allison was having with Stiles, putting my finger to my lips, hearing faint talking... Someone was with Allison's sister inside of the school.
"It's hunters code!" I heard the familiar voice of Allison's father yell, before the sound of gunshots alerted all of us. "It's your father, he's trying to kill her!" I yelled as I took off into the school, and saw something that almost made me stop in my tracks.
Chris had tears welling in his doubtful eyes as his daughter fell to the ground, crying out in pain from the wound that was visible from here in her back. Her father had the guts to pull the trigger. I could see the black blood streaming along her back, the gunk leaking down and soaking the top of her jeans.
Before I could run after her, she burst through the back doors and ran into the forest, a wince etched onto my face as she almost tripped but caught herself.
"Dad?" Allison called out, fear written across her face as she looked at him with betrayal. "This is none of your-" Allison started to sob, rubbing her hands across her face as a way to try and stop the tears. I watched her with droopy eyes, my heart melting just watching her as the tears poured freely. "I don't-I don't want another funeral, dad. Please." She begged, grabbing a hold of her father's arm tightly, but he ignored her touch.
Suddenly he turned towards me, aiming it towards my face and gripping my shirt tightly as he held me up against the lockers. "It's either Scott, or Stella. Who is it going to be?" Chris questioned, his voice cracking just enough to let Scott know it did hurt him that he possibly killed his daughter. "Dad!" She cried out, reaching towards me and holding onto my arm, her eyes frantically moving from me to her father. "Please, please, don't hurt him. Please dad, I won't-I won't see him again. I prom- I promise." She sobbed out, stuttering over her words while Chris shoved the gun up against the temple of my head harshly, making my squint my eyes.
"Never again." He spoke, before walking around us and out the doors, leaving us behind to think about what he had just said. Ally clung to my chest tightly, grabbing fistfuls of my shirt and nestling her head into the crook of my neck as I held her tightly. I looked over towards Stiles, seeing him walk in carefully since I told him to stay out there in case anything happened.
His words were on replay in my head and my eyes widened once I realized what he was going to do. Oh my God. "Allison..." I softly whispered, shaking her lightly. "Wh-what?" She asked, tears falling down her face in streaks that glimmered from the way the moon was reflecting through the window. "He's going to kill Stella."
