Hey, I'm a fellow writer who has written plenty of fantasy books and I have started to like the "Friendship" Surrounding Moon and Winter, so, why not make a WOF fanfic!
(Keep in mind im a fantasy writer, not a fanfiction writer...

"Oh, boy! I can't wait to show everyone the party flyers! This party is gonna be so fun and cool and cool and fun and uhhh cool...." Kinkajou was walking in the hallway after class finished. She had heard about this new couple called; (The solar-opposites), it was between Permafrost and this beautiful female nightwing called; Starlover. Starlover was one of the most pretty Nightwings' in this JMA, her glimmering jewelry and dazzling starry wings. But Kinkajou was a bit dumbstruck about the couple.
First of all, They were a couple of Icewing and Nightwing which would not go well of course.
Nextly, they never really showed any chemistry between each other, maybe Permafrost was more obviously attracted toward her but Starlover? Starlover never smiled when around him which was really weird.
Kinkajou whipped those thoughts because she does not like getting into drama like that, what was important was the party!
She went to every cave she could find. Her scales turning bright pink as 99% of people accepted the invitation to the party! "I can't believe I am able to host the party at the center of JMA, the Dod are great! I never thought they would let me" Kinkajou thought to herself. She was approaching one of the last caves when she realized it was Permafrosts' cave. "hey..Uh do you want t-" Kinkajou got cut off when Permafrost angrily replied by; "No, ugly unmuture rainwing. Leave!" His deep crispy voice sent a chill down Kinkajou's spine. She flew away quickly saying "RUDE!" "What did you say?" Permafrost yelled.
"Hey Winter and Moon, would you like to join the party?" Kinkajou handed the flyer to Moon and Winter, Which looked like this:

"Should I really go? No, you're an Icewing winter, you do not go to stupid parties!" Winter thought to himself. "Yea, sure i'm going to go, sounds like fun!" Moon replied in a matter of seconds. Winter could not control himself, he responded with; "I'm going" "WINTER! WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT!" Winter angrily thought to himself as soon as he let those "nasty" words out of his snout. "Oh god, because of Moon, God damn it! I hate this feeling!" Moon leaped up in joy and hugged Winter smiling, she was even more energetic than Kinkajou (which says something) "Uhmmmm" Winter shocked by the hug. Moon quickly got off of him "Oh, uh, sorry, I'm just excited you went, that was surprising, heehee." Moon giggled. Winter looked at Kinkajou and back at Moon. "New experience I guess..." "Wow, Winter is coming! Have fun, see you there!" Kinkajou turned to fly away.
"Hmm, it looks like It says "Bring a partner" maybe it is for a dance?" Moon quietly questioned. Moon walked over to her bed and sat down lost in thought "I wonder what Moon could Possibly be thinking about?" Winter thought to himself, he walked over to his bed and now he was lost in thought! "Hey, uhh Winter-"
"What?"
"no, no, no-nevermind!"
"No, no! You could say it!"
"Would you-uhh-like to go to the-uhh dance with me?"
Winter blushed and then it was pure silence for around 10 seconds! Moon was turning as red as a tomato, not that she was mad, she was kinda dumbstruck that she just said that she wants Winter to go to the dance with her.. "You look stupid Moon! And sure, I would love to go!" Winter replied after the awkward 10 seconds of silence of just staring. "Oh! Ok!" Moon tried to hide her excitement but she couldn't. The smile was wayyyy to visible. "Wait, but aren't you dating Qibli?" Winter questioned genuinely confused. "Well, I don't think things are going to work out with me and Qibli, he found this-this girl! And now she is in my, I mean our cave sleeping all day! I just want to punch her so badly!" Moon started babbling on and on until there were tears of anger rolling out of her emerald-like eyes... "Hey, it's ok, although I never seen you angry like that. You will get through this. Maybe Qibli is just not right for you?" Winter tried to confort Moon, which helped her cool down a bit. "Guess our roles are swapped!" Winter put up a joke to lighten the mood and break the tension. "This is very out of place for you. I like this new Winter..." Moon said as Winter blushed. Winter then saw Moon walking up to him and sitting on his bed. She put her beautiful dark green scales on him and slept. She did not care that it was icy cold because for some reason, Winter's presence made her feel warm, like a burning hot fire place, more like a cozy cabin. "Hey, uh Moon I-No, nevermind" Winter cut himself off. "oh, what were you going to say?" "Nevermind. Just go to sleep" Winter laid down as Moon was on his shoulder, Moon moved but never got off his bed, he was just so cozy and warm! instead she slept next to him.
