"I think a pixie cut would look pretty hot"  Sean said in between mouthfuls of his hearty breakfast of bacon and eggs. I rolled my eyes and tapped my nails or whats left of them on the table. I chew my nails when I'm worried and I have certainly had a lot to worry about. "Remind me again why I need a hair cut"  He put his fork down with a clatter and took a slug of milk. "Because honey, you're being chased by assassin's and its my job to protect you."

I groaned loudly. "If they wanted me, wouldn't they have taken me already?"  Sean got up and started to walk up the stairs. I knew he expected me to follow him, so I did. "They know you're with us. They can't fight our security so they will wait till you're alone"  I shuddered at the thought of it. He proceeded up the stairs and muttered something about wanting a shower. I backed off. Definitely don't want to experience that. I have felt enough of him already.

"Babes?"  Mariah hollered from the kitchen. I walked in whilst letting out a huge yawn. Looks like worrying really does affect sleep. Or maybe Mariah and I were just having too much fun? I laughed silently before pushing the door and entering the kitchen.

I gasped when I saw Mariah with a picnic basket full of goodies. My eyes lingered there for a moment before I fully took in Mariah. She looked amazing. Her hair was naturally curly. She never left it that way back in England but we had no time to pack so it hung loosely creating a curtain effect around her face. Due to the fact that the only clothes we came with were party dresses we had to borrow Sean's sister's clothes. She was definitely a girly girl judging by her wardrobe. So Mariah was kitted out in denim dungarees with a lacy tank top underneath. She was also wearing floral converse. She was like the hot farmer girl you expect to find slapped across some perverted magazine but instead she was all mine.

She noticed me gawking and smirked "You like this?"  She placed her hands on her slender hips and puffed out her chest teasing me. I held out my arms like a zombie and marched towards her. She giggled hyperly and smoothly dodged me. I chuckled as we chased each other around the kitchen. There was a creak on the stairs and she glanced up. I took the moment graciously and lunged towards her , knocking us both to the ground." Mwahhahaha I shall never let you go, my love"  I declared as I hung tightly onto her hips. She wriggled and squirmed but my grip was tight. Eventually she gave up and relaxed in my arms. "What will make you let me go?" She asked as she scrambled around so we were at eye level. I stared into her beautiful green eyes before answering seductively "Surprise me"

She placed a free arm on her chin in mock thought. I smiled, watching her graceful movements intently. She locked eyes with mine again and whispered "How about this?" Her voice sent shivers down my neck. She chuckled as she saw goosebumps form on my neck. She moved her mouth towards it and kissed it. She sucked it slightly, I moaned with pleasure and she ran her mouth along my neck , laying little butterfly kisses as she did. She bit the skin of my jawline slightly, making me squeal. She burst out laughing at the noise I produced and pushed herself off me. "Happy horny?" She questioned.  I sat up pouting." You tease! Finish what you started!"  She rolled her eyes before replying "What right here on the kitchen floor? That would be a sight to behold for poor Maura."

I nodded in reluctant agreement and rose from the ground. I held out my hand for her and she took it "Fine hun, lets finish it in the forest"  I stated. She smiled sexily and wrapped an arm around my waist "That is something I can see happening" She noted as we picked up the basket and walked in the direction of the back door.

"CASEY!" Sean blasted in the other door with a stressed expression on his face. He snatched my arm and dragged me out of the room roughly. I swerved just enough to avoid being smacked into the doorway. I tugged my arm away and stood stubbornly in my place "What the hell? I'm busy"  He stared at me with narrowed eyes. "Now is not the time to be busy. Get in the car"

I crossed my arms firmly and looked at him with an unnerved expression "You will explain or I will not move"  He inhaled deeply with annoyance. I was pissing him off. Good, he deserved it. He ruined a totally romantic moment.  "You need to get out of this house now. They are hot on your heels. I don't know what provoked it. I really don't. But my highers tell me to get you to somewhere safe fast and I will okay? So just get in the damn van, please" He looked at me with puppy eyes now. It was a tactic. I needed to get my head together first. I knew we had little time but I am not leaving on impulse.

"Mariah" I exclaimed "She has to come"  He tapped his foot on the ground. Dubarry's. Very dapper. He must get paid a lot. Wait what? Why I am thinking about his choice of footwear at a time like this.

"She can't come."  He stated plainly "We are going to a government hide out. I'm not permitted to let you bring a plus one" He added sarcastically. I raised one eyebrow. "No Mariah. No Casey"   He nodded as if he accepted it. I made a humph noise , glad I had finally gotten through to him.

"Okay , you can die together." He said and he turned around and waltzed out the door. I took a deep breath. Did I make the right decision? I guess.  I began to walk back towards the kitchen when I felt myself being lifted off and thrown over someones shoulder.

"Really you thought I was that easy?" He asked as he carted me out the door like a sack of potatoes. I growled at him angrily. "Okay... We can plan small talk later?" He asked casually. If he was trying to keep a light and casual atmosphere it was not flipping working. I will kill this boy someday.

If I don't die first.

He flung me into the back of a murky old van. It was pitch black and I'm pretty sure there were spiders along with numerous tool boxes and ladders. Well , I could make something to murder him with right here right now. I contemplated it but dismissed it as I can't drive and I don't fancy being lost in the middle of nowhere alone, again.

He drove roughly and I was trashed back and forth in the van for god knows how long. Lets just say it was an uncomfortable ride, to say the least. He drove roughly and it felt like we were going up a mountain. What were the secret quarters in the sky or something.

My thoughts drifted back to Mariah as I lay in the van among tools and other items. She will probably think I ran away with Sean instead of her and what will Maura think? I know she is oblivious to Sean's second identity. He said he doesn't tell her in order to keep her safe but in the end what difference would it make to her. It would just cause worry and stress for no reason which none of us need. It causes wrinkles and lack of sleep (which I have sadly experienced)

As well as that, why wouldn't Sean let us bring Mariah? I know he said it was for professional reasons but really? She was my life. I knew her like the back of my hand now and I loved her more than I had ever loved anyone. She could be in danger now. But Sean wouldn't leave someone out in the lurch like that, would he? He wouldn't be cruel enough to leave his own mother in danger though, so I'm sure she's safe.

The van pulled to an abrupt halt and he slid the door open. He offered his hand to help me out but quickly retracted it when he saw the expression on my face. "Okay Okay" He mumbled and placed his hands above his head in emphasis. I nodded in approval and smoothly stepped over the ladders and what not.

He pointed towards a small homely looking cottage in the distance."There they are"  I raised my eyebrows "That's it?" I asked "No guards or a gaudy electric fence no?" I added sarcastically. He shook his head and started off in a swift jog. I groaned deeply and began to follow him.

When we reached to cottage he knocked casually on the door. To my horror, his mother opened it. I gasped aloud. He looked slightly embarrassed. Maura wrapped me in a bear hug and ushered us in. "Come, sit have a cuppa." She offered.

"Yeah mom , that would be great but I'm sure Casey wants to see her room and I really need a shower, so we'll be down soon okay?" His mother nodded and began to busy herself with housework. I followed Sean upstairs. He led me into a purple room and looked at me expectantly "Well?" he asked.

"It'll do. I suppose but I have questions Sean!" I demanded. He raised a finger to his lips and slowly opened my wardrobe. He grabbed me and pushed me in. I tried to scream but he covered my mouth "Lets make out" He slurred. "NOOO" I yelled but he was already laughing. I couldn't see his face in the darkness and he was damn lucky he couldn't see mine.

Then we were falling and falling. I thought I had passed out or something until I saw a black haired woman approaching us "Welcome to our headquarters" She stated simply yet warmly.

Oh right. This makes sense.
