Struggling. That's what Y/N was doing.
He was shot in the gut by that mad man who was off to save the girl.
The teenage Firefly crawled on the floor, barely making it. He crawled using one arm, while using his other hand to hold his wound.
He heard the sound of gunshots a little while ago off in the distance before they stopped. Now he hears the sound of screaming and crying. He recognizes it as his crush, Abby.
Y/N: Abby!
He crossed a bit faster and a couple of minutes later he makes it to the surgery room and lightly pounds on the door.
???: Someone's at the door!
The soldiers inside readied their weapons and one carefully pulled the door open.
Y/N: Down here. . .
???: Oh shit!
Owen was holding the crying Abby. Her father, Jerry, was killed by Joel.
One of the Firefly soldiers confirmed who they're seeing bleeding on the ground.
???: It's Y/N! He's been gut shot!
Abby and Owen looked over towards
Y/N. He was being dragged inside.
As soon as they got him laid on his back, they put pressure on the wound. He's lost a lot of blood.
Abby: Oh God!
Abby can't take much more. Her dad is dead and her best friend is dying. The two soldiers who dragged him in started inspecting the wound. They were no Jerry Anderson, but they would suffice.
???: He needs blood! He's A positive! Do we have any?!
Y/N groaned in pain as Owen and Abby looked at him with horror and worry. One of the Fireflies brought up a concerning answer to the question.
???: The girl. Ellie Williams. We took her blood. It's the only A positive blood we have.
The Firefly who was holding pressure on Y/N's wound paused. Y/N will die without a blood transfusion. The Firefly looked down at Y/N.
???: You have a choice. Take the blood and risk infection, or die here. . .
Y/N looked at Abby and Owen before making the decision.
Y/N: Risk it.
The Firefly nodded and they escorted Abby and Owen out of the room so they can begin operating. . .
