Y/N was alone in the marina that he claimed as his own, singing to himself while working on his latest killing tool.

Y/N: My mother mother told me, someday I would buy, a ship with good oars, and sail to distant shores. My mother told me, someday I would glide, wind like the crow, waves beneath my boat. High above the clouds their voices I can hear, the valkyria await me, hew many foe-men. My mother told me, someday I would die, valkyrie there, ′lo come to take me home. Valhalla's gates askew see my friends anew, the Aesir be awaiting, hew many foe-men, hew many foe-men.

Y/N sighed and leaned back in his chair, he looked up at the ceiling and then down to his newest project. A razor whip, inspired by a good friend of his who is no longer in the realm of the living.

Y/N: I hope you're proud of me, brother. Rest in peace, Takeda Takahashi.

Y/N reached over on his desk and grabbed a large flask of lemonade that he had spiked with whiskey. He sighed and drunk half of it all at once.

Y/N heard the sound of voices, so he decided that now is the best time to test out his razor whip. He grabbed it and headed towards the general area where he thought he heard the voices coming from.

He creeped around the corner and saw none other than Owen and Abby, he grunted with disgust as he saw them kiss so he uncoiled his whip and cracked it.

The sound barrier breaking noise alerted the two and they drew the weapons only to lower them when they saw a half drunk Y/N.

Y/N: A warning would have been great before two soldiers entered my base.

Abby and Owen were shocked and didn't know what to say.

Abby: Y/N! We didn't know this place belonged to anyone. . .

Owen: Yeah. . . we didn't know. Are-. . . are you drunk?

Y/N lowered his sword arm.

Y/N: Somewhat. Don't judge me, it's been a rough couple of days.

Owen and Abby exchanged looks before speaking.

Owen: We heard about Takeda. I'm sorry-

Y/N: Enough! If you want to give sympathy, give it silently.

The mercenary sighed and coiled up his weapon. Giving a head gesture for Abby and Owen to follow him.

Y/N: You are the only two that I really tolerate. Might as well show you both around since you're already here.

Y/N led the two weary survivors through the aquarium. They went up a set upstairs and into what the mercenary had made into his living area. There were several couches with pillows and blankets, there was food and water, there was a dining table, and books. It had everything that one could need.

Abby: Huh. Cozy-. . . oh. . .

There was also a skeleton that had a blanket over its lap.

Y/N: That's Jerrod. He's taking a nap. He's chill like that.

Owen: Okay-

Y/N cut Owen off before he could say anything more.

Y/N: Listen, both of you, and listen good. I can't trust anyone else. I trusted those insane Jack twins, I trusted that dragon mask fucker, I trusted that FUCKING BARRY BURTON BITCH!!!

Owen and Abby were paralyzed, not knowing what to make of this outburst, or what to do.

Y/N: You two are the only ones who haven't either died or betrayed me. Promise me, that you won't do either of those. And if I fall, continue on with my memory in your hearts.
