Hyunjin, and Han take a 3 Hour drive up to Daegu to meet with the head of the Daegu District So Ji-Sub, with his skills and his ruthlessness he was the one that seemed right for the task. Han & Hyunjin go to Daegu to have So Ji-sub's men track down Chris and bring him home and if anyone decided to harbor those who had intended harm on his friends, he would make sure So Ji-sub would take their limbs or take their lives. Either one was fine with Hyunjin Someone had gone after his friends. Soon the person who was responsible would witness wrath of the seondal sending a clear message that those who enter into the lives of any members the seondal they become family and when you go after one's family your life is officially on the line.

After a 3 Hour Drive, they finally arrive in Daegu the car was put in park in front of a massive hotel that they called the den. This was the base of operation for the seondal in Daegu this was where traders came to die for hyunjin this is the place he would visit with his father every week since he was a young boy learning the ways his father's world worked. This was the place where he had met Han.

They were no older than 6 years of age.  Han's father was brought into the den on the accounts of his tertiary. he was considered a trader. his life was on the line his son standing beside him when he entered the corridors greeted by hundreds of gang members standing in front of them. The man dropped to his knees and begged for his life. He knew that what he did was wrong, but he had to save his son.

Before this meeting occurred Han was taken by three individuals who were looking for the seondal base so they could steal finances in attempt to take over. Han's father was able to find his son's location with the help of members of the seondal but when it came down to it, a lot of men were lost, and his father was captured as well. He was told to give the locations of all five seondal bases, he refused for many hours then the torture became more rigorous.

The captors brought Han into the room where his father was being tortured and told him if he did not speak, his son would lose his life of course not before he would lose a few limbs. Presented with the life-or-death situation never scared Han's father before but now it was his youngest child. han's  father became hysterical, crying for his son's life, begging for him to be spared. he gave up the locations of each seondal base of operation and they were let go. running back to the base in Daegu, telling Hwang Jung-Min he had no choice but to give up the locations he knew what was at stake.

He knew that he had officially become a traitor, but he couldn't let his son die because of his lifestyle hyunjin heard the man's cries explaining how he never wanted to be a traitor. up until now he was the most loyal member, but the seondal lived by a code, a life for a life Han's father would be sentenced to death for his treason.

The man was presented to Ji-sub, Jung-Min and his young son hwang hyunjin he pleaded at their feet, proclaiming, he couldn't watch his son die in front of his eyes. He needed to save him at all costs even if it meant his own life, the man was prepared for what would happen to him. He knew what betraying the seondal meant for him. He was ready, he only had one plea left.

Mr. Hwang, please take care of my son. He's the youngest of my boys, he's just a kid. please spare my son, save him, teach him the ways of the seondal please I can't bear to know that my son has to die due to me please I was once one of your most trusted allies. My son has been taught part of our way through me. He knows what must happen please he's just a child take him in make him one of your own like I once was, he will be your son's most trusted allies. He will do whatever you say, I promise my son will be loyal, will be strong.
