Hey Guys so I've decided to rename from 'Friends with the bad boy' to 'Decoding Braxton', something a little more original! I haven't updated in a while because I've been stuck into my other two books on my other account @Angielicixus so check that out! Anyways I'm back and have some wicked ideas for this chapter! Hope you guys enjoy!

"I've been thinking a lot recently." Hunter began as he rubbed his chin. He had a thoughtful expression on his face as he then ran his hand through his gelled brown hair. Hunter was the perfect image of a metrosexual. He was all about himself, trimmed beard, ear piercing, perfect hair, groomed eyebrows.

"Well that's new." Lexi added with a snort. Hunter glared at her as he shoved her with his side. Lexi laughed as she flicked her long blonde hair back over her shoulder. She batted her eye lashes that surrounded her deep blue eyes.

"I don't appreciate you mocking me." Hunter said as his British accent made each word he spoke seem more sophisticated. Sometimes when I close my eyes I like to imagine Hunter as Felix from Orphan Black, okay well not being anymore weirder..

"You're awfully quiet today C." Both of them stopped mucking around and turned their full attention onto me. I sunk further down into the cafeteria seat. I had yet to tell them both about my tutoring plan with Braxton Creed. Heck I didn't think they even knew Braxton was back.

"Yeah Ciara, you're starting to freak me out." I rolled my eyes at Hunter and began to mash the potatoes with my fork. I just wanted to skip through the rest of the day and get to the part where netflix and I finally get our alone time.

"Earth to Underwood." Lexi said snapping her fingers at me pulling me out of my little fantasy. I pushed her hand away and sighed.

"Braxton Creed." I muttered pushing my face into my hand. I expected both of them to begin to bicker on forgetting what I said, but both of them were as silent as a rock, well as silent as rocks ever will be.

"Holy Shite." Hunter mumbled leaning in.

"He's not back is he?" Lexi asked pushing Hunter aside. I stared at them both for a good 5 seconds then sat up straight in my seat pushing the tray of food away from me.

"He's more than back," I begun.

"He's back in town AND stupid baldy principal wants me to tutor him for Math!" I groaned. I hesitated for a second about throwing my arms in the air, but I then realised how lazy I actually was and how much effort lifting my arms would be.

"Do not talk about Principal Harrison like them. I find his hairless scalp attractive." Hunter said with googly eyes. Lexi and I both gagged. If you hadn't realised by now Hunter is gay, well Bisexual.

"If you ever say hairless scalp again, I will skin you alive." Lexi threatened. Hunter huffed and blew her off, Actually blowing her off.

"Can we concentrate for at least one second here!" Both of them began to ramble again, I cleared my voice catching their attention. These two were like fox and rabbit. Always biting at each other, except rabbits don't bite foxes so I have no idea where that reference came in.

"Well what is your dad gonna say about this C?" I shrugged at Lexi.

"He'd be pleased. Last night he was bugging me about getting close to Braxton then finding out why he came back to town." I then began to explain in more detail what my dad was talking about and it ended up turning into a discussion about Braxton's past.

"Well maybe C can get some bad boy action in as well." Hunter added with a wink.

"Hunter please, You worry me sometimes." He laughed, but then the cafeteria went silent. I turned my head around watching as all the other students in the cafeteria looked at Braxton Creed like he was Regina George from mean girls. Literally.

He stood at the entrance with his hands in his pockets. He definitely looked different from the last time I saw him. His dark brown hair was swept to the back with the perfect messy texture. Even from the other side of the room I could see how mysterious his soft green eyes were, Like they were begging to be read.

He had also buffed up. The white shirt just clung to his torso like a second skin and his arms popped out in the jacket he was wearing. His strong chiseled face turned as his eyes scanned through everyone in the cafeteria, Most likely looking for his partner in crime. Jax.

Everyone stayed silent as he slowly walked down the path, eyes glued onto him not sure wether to be checking him out or running for their life. He approached our table not even bothering to make eye contact with any of us, but just walking ahead to the line. Once he stood at the back a few moments later everyone slowly went back into their own little world.

"Talk about dramatic, He had a Beyoncè moment." I gave Hunter that 'Really, did you just really say that.' look. He shrugged and slowly lowered his head.

"Have fun talking to that hunk."

"Oh come on now!" I exclaimed looking at Lexi. She giggled and began looking around the cafeteria. Probably for her boyfriend, Wilson.

"You have that Wilson search expression on." I commented poking her nose with the end of my fork. She cringed and pushed the fork away from her face.

"One, Yes I am. Two get that disgusting thing away from me." I laughed and flicked it onto the red tray. I went back into a conversation with Hunter and Lexi about weekend plans and gossiping about the recent episode of the vampire diaries.

The bell rang signalling everyone to head to their next class. I stood up and walked over to the trash can emptying the remains of my mushed potatoes. I swiftly turned around and walked into someones hard chest. Strong cologne filled my nostrils as I looked up and saw a pair of green eyes looking down at me.

"S-Sorry." I muttered quickly stepping away and walking the other fast, reasonably fast. Sooner or later I had to approach Braxton, but I chose later.

I slammed my locker door shut letting out a satisfied sigh. I presented in Biology and got my Science homework done on time. That' a giant relief now. I swung my backpack over my shoulder and began to walk towards the exit, but stopped when I saw another figure at their locker. Oh shit I forgot all about Braxton!

I slowly walked up to him and stood behind him waiting for him to turn around.

"Yes?" He asked keeping his head in his locker sorting things out. I gulped and peered around.

"Braxton.." He turned around and hovered over me like a giant hawk. Weirdly I expected to be nervous, but I stood tall and stared directly into his eyes.

"Hmph."

"Did uh Principal Harrison talk to you about a Math's tutor?" He continued to look at me, his eyes filled with many emotions when everyone expected them to be cold and hard.

"I guess that'd be you then?" His voice was so masculine and much more mature. Just deep and.. attractive.

"Yeah, Ciara Underwood." I introduced putting my hand out. He looked at my hand for a moment then back at me. I lowered my hand awkwardly.

"Well Ciara, I don't need a tutor. I can manage myself. Thanks." I looked at him for a moment studying his expression.

"Are you sure cause I do-"

"I said I'm fine." He cut in, in a harsh cold tone. I took a step back.

"Well you know, I'm here if you need." I suggested giving me a small smile, obviously fake and scared.

"Right." He turned back around and continued to sort his locker. I stood there for a few more moments.

"Why are you still here." He asked keeping his head in his locker.

"Oh, uh. I'm just leaving." I quickly turned and walked down the hall peering over my shoulder watching as Braxton looked right at me. Once I made it out of the gates I sighed and rubbed my forehead.

Okay great, If I keep around him he's going to get annoyed and what am I supposed to tell Principal Harrison now! Think Ciara, Think! Nothing. I couldn't think of a simple solution.

I just need to try and befriend him, that can't be hard. I'm surely a friendly person. I began to walk on the sidewalk towards my home. Maybe I need expert advice and the two people who are more wiser than my 60 year old Biology teacher. Hunter and Lexi.
